Police Check means a formal inquiry made to the relevant police authority in each State or Territory and designed to obtain details of an individual’s criminal conviction or a finding of guilt in all places (within and outside Australia) that the Grantee knows the person has resided in;
Traveler s check” means an instrument that is payable on demand, is drawn on or payable at or through a bank, is designated by the term “traveler's check” or by a substantially similar term, and requires, as a condition to payment, a countersignature by a person whose specimen signature appears on the instrument.
Self-Check means an integrated function that checks for a system failure on a continuous basis at least while the system is active.
RD 1012/2015 means Royal Decree 1012/2015, of 6 November developing Law 11/2015, as amended or superseded from time to time.
Checked-In Baggage means the baggage entrusted by the Insured and accepted by a Common Carrier for transportation for which a baggage receipt is issued to the Insured by the Common Carrier. This shall exclude all the items that are carried/ transported under a contract of affreightment.
Copayment means that you pay a fixed amount each time you fill a prescription.
Baggage Check means those portions of the Ticket which relate to the carriage of your Checked Baggage.
Lobbying means the advocacy of an interest that is affected, actually or potentially by the procurement process or individuals involved in the procurement process including seeking to influence the outcome of the procurement process or subsequent award of a contract.
Formulary means a list of covered prescription drugs provided under this plan. The formulary includes generic, preferred brand name, non-preferred brand name, and specialty prescription drugs.
E-Check means any check which You authorize the payee to process electronically. For joint accounts, read singular pronouns in the plural.
Government aggregator means any government entity subject
SOC means State Owned Company, as defined by the Companies’ Act;
Unchecked Baggage means any baggage (carry-on) accompanying the passenger other than checked baggage.
Checked Baggage means baggage of which the carrier takes sole custody and for which the carrier issues a baggage identification tag.
Policy summary means a synopsis describing the elements of a life insurance policy.
Xxxxxxx Money Deposit shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.5(a).
Daily Simple XXXXX for any day (a “XXXXX Interest Day”), an interest rate per annum equal to (a) XXXXX for the day that is five XXXXX Business Days (such fifth XXXXX Business Day determined pursuant to each of subclauses (i) and (ii), the “XXXXX Lookback Day”) prior to (i) if such XXXXX Interest Day is a XXXXX Business Day, such XXXXX Interest Day or (ii) if such XXXXX Interest Day is not a XXXXX Business Day, the XXXXX Business Day immediately preceding such XXXXX Interest Day or (b) if XXXXX is not available for the XXXXX Lookback Day determined pursuant to clause (a) above, by 5:00 p.m., London time on any day of determination of Daily Simple XXXXX, then Daily Simple XXXXX for such day will be XXXXX as published in respect of the first preceding XXXXX Business Day prior to the XXXXX Lookback Day for which XXXXX was published on the XXXXX Administrator’s Website; provided that Daily Simple XXXXX determined pursuant to this clause (b) shall be utilized for purposes of calculation of Daily Simple XXXXX for no more than three consecutive XXXXX Interest Days and thereafter subsection 2.11(a) shall govern. Any change in Daily Simple XXXXX due to a change in XXXXX shall be effective from and including the effective date of such change in XXXXX without notice to the Borrower.

Amount Generally Billed or “AGB” means, with respect to emergency and other medically necessary care, the amount generally billed to individuals who have insurance covering such care.
MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION DRUGS are prescription drugs that require administration (or the FDA approved recommendation is for administration) by a licensed healthcare provider (other than a pharmacist). These medical prescription drugs include, but are not limited to, medications administered by infusion, injection, or inhalation, as well as nasal, topical or transdermal administered medications. Medical prescription drugs are covered as a medical benefit. MEDICALLY NECESSARY (MEDICAL NECESSITY) means that the healthcare services provided to treat your illness or injury, upon review by BCBSRI are: • appropriate and effective for the diagnosis, treatment, or care of the condition, disease, ailment or injury for which it is prescribed or performed; • appropriate with regard to generally accepted standards of medical practice within the medical community or scientific evidence; • not primarily for the convenience of the member, the member’s family or provider of such member; and • the most appropriate in terms of type, amount, frequency, setting, duration, supplies or level of service, which can safely be provided to the member (i.e. no less expensive professionally acceptable alternative, is available). We will make a determination whether a healthcare service is medically necessary. You have the right to appeal our determination or to take legal action as described in Section
Basic Comprehensive User Guide means the Ministry document titled Basic Comprehensive Certificates of Approval (Air) User Guide” dated April 2004 as amended.
Security Limits means operating electricity system voltage limits, stability limits and thermal ratings.
