Thereafter, each person, corporation or other entity submitting a response to this solicitation, must certify that each County Lobbyist, as defined by Los Angeles County Code Section 2.160.010, retained by the Bidder is in full compliance with Chapter 2.160 of the Los Angeles County Code and each such County Lobbyist is not on the Executive Office’s List of Terminated Registered Lobbyists.
The PROVIDER shall not use any funds received under this Provider Agreement, either directly or indirectly, for purposes of conducting lobbying activities or hiring a lobbyist or lobbyists on its behalf at the Federal, State, or local government, level as defined in the Lobbyist Regulation Act, NMSA 1978, Sections 2-11-1 et seq., and applicable Federal law.
Failure on the part of the Contractor or any County Lobbyist or County Lobbying firm retained by the Contractor to fully comply with the County’s Lobbyist Ordinance will constitute a material breach of this Master Agreement, upon which the County may in its sole discretion, immediately terminate or suspend this Master Agreement.
The Contractor, and each County Lobbyist or County Lobbying firm as defined in County Code Section 2.160.010 retained by the Contractor, must fully comply with the County’s Lobbyist Ordinance, County Code Section 2.160.010.
