Local Commercial Use definition

Local Commercial Use means a convenience store, laundromat, farm market or small scale commercial use aimed at a local neighbourhood clientele.
Local Commercial Use means commercial premises that: (a) offers goods or products for sale or rent, including food prepared on or off site, but excludes a restaurant use and a grocery store use; or (b) offers personal service uses.
Local Commercial Use means the use of land, buildings or structures for the purpose of providing retail goods and service on a limited scale to primarily employees or residents in the area and may include, but is not limited to, day cares, restaurants, convenience stores, and financial institutions in accordance with the Land Use By-Law.

  • Residential Uses means lands, Buildings or structures or portions thereof used, or designed or intended for use as a home or residence of one or more individuals, and shall include Single Detached Dwelling, Semi-Detached Dwelling, Multiple Dwelling, Apartment Dwelling, and the residential portion of a mixed-use Building or structure;

  • Commercial sex act means any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person.

  • Exempt Renewable Technology means, in all Mitigated Capacity Zones, an Intermittent Power Resource solely powered by wind or solar energy.

  • Agricultural use means the use of any pesticide or method or device for the control of pests in connection with the commercial production, storage or processing of any animal or plant crop. “Agricultural Use” does not include the sale or use of pesticides in properly labeled packages or containers which are intended for: (A) Home use, (B) Use in structural pest control, or (C) Industrial or Institutional use.
