Local Exchange Traffic definition

Local Exchange Traffic means traffic originated on the network of a LEC in a LATA and completed directly between that LEC's network and the network of another LEC in that same LATA, including intraLATA toll traffic and traffic originated to or terminated from LECs not party to this Agreement. Local Exchange Traffic does not include traffic that is routed to or terminated from the network of an IXC.
Local Exchange Traffic is as defined in the Act.
Local Exchange Traffic means traffic which actually originates and actually terminates within the same Local Calling Area or EAS Area as identified in the ILEC's exchange tariffs.

Local Exchange Traffic means Zone Usage Measurement ("ZUM") Xxxx 0, Xxxx 0, Xxxx 3 and Extended Area Service Calls.

  • Local Exchange Carrier or "LEC" means any Carrier that is engaged in the provision of telephone Exchange Service or Exchange Access.   • Traffic means any persons or goods that are transported by air.

In this case, any reference to the Relevant Exchangei in these Terms and Conditions shall from then on be deemed to refer to the Replacement Exchange.

  • Interexchange Carrier (IXC) means a carrier that provides, directly or indirectly, InterLATA or IntraLATA Telephone Toll Services.

  • Optional Exchange means the exchange of the Certificates by the Trust for the Underlying Securities pursuant to Section 7(a) hereof.
