Routing Point Sample Clauses
A Routing Point clause defines the specific location or locations where goods are transferred from one carrier or mode of transportation to another during shipment. In practice, this clause identifies key logistical hubs or transfer points, such as ports, rail terminals, or distribution centers, that are critical to the movement of goods along their route. By clearly specifying these points, the clause helps coordinate responsibilities between parties and ensures that all involved understand where custody and risk may shift, thereby reducing confusion and potential disputes during the shipping process.

Routing Point. A specific geographic point identified by a specific V&H coordinate. The Routing Point is used to route inbound traffic to specified NPA-NXXs. The Routing Point must be located within the LATA in which the corresponding NPA-NXX is located. However, the Routing Point associated with each NPA-NXX need not be the same as the corresponding Rate Center Point, nor must it be located within the corresponding Rate Center Area, nor must there be a unique and separate Routing Point corresponding to each unique and separate Rate Center Area.
Routing Point. A specific geographic point identified by a specific V&H coordinate. The Routing Point is used to route inbound traffic to specified NAP-NXXs and the Rate Center Point is used to calculate mileage measurements for distance-sensitive transport charges of switched access services. Pursuant to Telcordia Practice BR-795- 100-100, the Rate Center Point may be an End Office location, or a "LEC Consortium Point Of Interconnection." The Routing Point must be located within the LATA in which the corresponding NPA-NXX is located.
Denotes a location that a LEC has designated on its network as the homing (routing) point for traffic that terminates to Exchange Services provided by the LEC that bear a certain NPA-NXX designation. The Routing Point is used to calculate airline mileage for the distance-sensitive transport element charges of Switched Access Services. Pursuant to Telcordia Technologies Practice BR795-100-100, the Routing Point may be an end office location, or a "LEC Consortium Point of Interconnection." The Routing Point must be in the same LATA as the associated NPA-NXX.
Routing Point. Mobile Communications shall designate a routing point for each of its NPA-NXX codes. The routing point may or may not correspond with the published LERG. The Routing point may only be designated at a POIs.

Routing Point. Denotes a location that a Carrier has designated on its network as the homing (routing) point for traffic that terminates to such Carriers that bear a certain NPA-NXX designation. The Routing Point is used to calculate airline mileage for the distance-sensitive transport element charges of Switched Access Services. Pursuant to Telcordia Technologies Practice BR795-100-100, the Routing Point may be an end office location, or a "LEC Consortium Point of Interconnection." The Routing Point need not be the same as the rating point and need not be within the same rate center, but must be in the same LATA as the associated NPA-NXX.
