Locally Originated Programming definition

Locally Originated Programming means television programming produced or which is inserted locally by Licensee or through an interconnect (an association of two or more cable systems for the purpose of distributing advertising or programming simultaneously) or otherwise originating by or on “Licensee’s Cable Television System” including, without limitation, (i) programming on locally-originated channels, including advertising and promotional materials thereon; (ii) programming on public, educational and governmental (“PEG”) access channels; (iii) public service announcements; (iv) programming on leased access channels; and (v) advertising and promotional materials inserted locally or through an interconnect by or on behalf of Licensee into national, regional or local cable programming services.
Locally Originated Programming means television programming produced or which is inserted locally by LICENSEE on LICENSEE's Closed Circuit Television System including, without limitation, (i) programming on locally-originated channels, including advertising and promotional materials thereon; (ii) programming on public, educational and governmental ("PEG") access channels; (iii) public service announcements; (iv) programming on leased access channels; and (v) advertising and promotional materials inserted locally or through an interconnect by or on behalf of LICENSEE into national, regional or local cable programming services.
Locally Originated Programming means audio or audio-visual programming that is locally produced by LICENSEE, or that is inserted on behalf of LICENSEE locally or through an interconnect or otherwise originated by, for, or on the Cable Television System. Locally Originated Programming includes, but is not limited to, (a) programming on locally-originated channels programmed by the Cable Television System, including advertising and promotional materials thereon; (b) programming on public, educational and governmental (“PEG”) access channels; and (c) advertising and promotional materials inserted locally or through an interconnect by or on behalf of LICENSEE into national, regional, or local cable programming services. As used herein, “Cable Television System” shall mean the cable television system, system of closed circuit distribution, multipoint microwave distribution system (MMDS), Internet, broadband, or other online service or other means of distribution which is owned and operated by LICENSEE and by which LICENSEE transmits Locally Originated Programming to LICENSEE’s premises.

  • Marijuana processor means a person who processes marijuana items in this state.

  • Software Program means the software program used by a Fund for providing Fund and account balance information including net asset value per share. Such Program may include the Lion System. In situations where the Lion System or any other Software Program used by a Fund is not available, such information may be provided by telephone. The Lion System shall be provided to Insurance Company at no charge.

  • Food processing plant means a commercial operation that manufactures, packages, labels or stores food for human consumption and does not provide food directly to a consumer. “Food processing plant” does not include any of the following:

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Manufactured housing means a structural unit or units designed for occupancy and constructed in a manufacturing facility and transported, by the use of its own chassis or an independent chassis, to a building site. The term includes any type of building that is constructed at a manufacturing facility and transported to a building site where it is used for housing and may be purchased or sold by a dealer in the interim. For purposes of this section, 2 types of manufactured housing are included. Those 2 types are:

  • Program services means services that include all of the following provided they are pursuant to a program agreement: program needs assessment and development, job task analysis, curriculum development and revision, instruction, instructional materials and supplies, computer software and upgrades, instructional support, administrative and student services, related school to career training programs, skill or career interest assessment services and testing and contracted services.

  • Manufactured dwelling means a residential trailer, a mobile home or a manufactured

  • Managed Care Program means the process that determines Medical Necessity and directs care to the most appropriate setting to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner, including Prior Authorization of certain services.

  • Lottery or “state lottery” means the lottery created pursuant to this act and operated exclusively by or under the exclusive control of the bureau of state lottery.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.
