Major Games definition

Major Games means international multi-sport competitions.
Major Games refer to Olympic, Asian, Commonwealth, South East Asian and Para equivalents. “Major Championships” refer to Asian, World and Para equivalents. “HPP” refer to the High Performance programme and its selection Policy. Definitions
Major Games refers to events sanctioned by the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC):- Southeast Asian Games (SEAG), Commonwealth Games (CG), Asian Games (AG) and/or Olympics. “Asian Championships” (also known as Asian Champs) refers to the Asian Dragon Boat Federation (ADBF) organized continental-level championship for the country’s national dragon boat teams to participate “Word Championships” (also known as World Champs) refers to the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) organized world-level championship for the country’s national dragon boat teams to participate “International Competitions” refers to any overseas competitions/events that SDBA assigned or nominate Nteam, Yteam and/or Masters Team to participate in “NSA” refers to the National Sport Association, in this case being the Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA)

  • Major source means any stationary source (or any group of stationary sources that are located on one or more contiguous or adjacent properties, and are under common control of the same person [or persons under common control]) belonging to a single major industrial grouping and that are described in subsection (A), (B), or (C) of this definition. For the purposes of defining “major source,” a stationary source or group of stationary sources shall be considered part of a single industrial grouping if all of the pollutant emitting activities at such source or group of sources on contiguous or adjacent properties belong to the same Major Group (i.e., all have the same two-digit code) as described in the Standard Industrial Classification Manual, 1987.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Bidder/Channel Partner means an eligible entity/firm submitting the Bid in response to this RFP.

  • Major Market means any of the following countries: the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
