Managed care means a system that provides the coordinated delivery of services and supports that are necessary and appropriate, delivered in the least restrictive settings and in the least intrusive manner. Managed care seeks to balance three factors: achieving high-quality outcomes for participants, coordinating access, and containing costs.
Managed Services means the services provided by a Client to End Users using the SaaS and Client’s intellectual capital and/or additional services supplied by Client.
Managed Assets means the Fund’s net assets, including assets attributable to any principal amount of any borrowings (including the issuance of commercial paper or notes) or preferred shares outstanding. For the avoidance of doubt, assets attributable to borrowings includes the portion of the Fund’s assets in a tender option bond trust of which the Fund owns the residual interest (without regard to the value of the residual interest to avoid double counting).
Managed Device means any device on which any Affiliate in the Enterprise directly or indirectly controls one or more operating system environments. Examples of Managed Devices can be found in the Product Terms.
Managed health care system means: (a) Any health care
Managed Fund means those Funds, individually and collectively, for which the Portfolio Manager makes buy and sell decisions.
Managed care plan means a health benefit plan that either requires a covered person to use, or
Managed Care Program means the process that determines Medical Necessity and directs care to the most appropriate setting to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner, including Prior Authorization of certain services.
Managed Account means an account of a client for which a person or company makes the investment decisions if that person or company has discretion to trade in securities for the account without requiring the client’s express consent to a transaction;
California Renewables Portfolio Standard means the renewable energy program and policies codified in California Public Utilities Code Sections 399.11 through 399.31 and California Public Resources Code Sections 25740 through 25751, as such provisions may be amended or supplemented from time to time.
Managed Care Plans means all health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, individual practice associations, competitive medical plans and similar arrangements.
Campground means that term as defined in section 12501 of the public health code, Act No. 368 of the Public Acts of 1978, being section 333.12501 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, except that campground does not include land or sites operated by this state or the federal government, and does not include a membership campground.

Managed Accounts means an account that is professionally managed through a wrap program. Managed Accounts require pre-approval through the Compliance Department prior to starting up the account. The Compliance Department will consider the facts and circumstances of the account, including the functions and duties of the employees, when approving or denying such accounts. In addition, preclearance is exempt with Managed Accounts, however, all trades still require reporting and duplicate statements and confirmations are required to be sent to the Compliance Department. Preclearance is only exempt for trades initiated by the wrap manager. All trades initiated by the employee require preclearance.
Portfolio Supervisor means First Trust Advisors L.P. and its successors in interest, or any successor portfolio supervisor appointed as hereinafter provided."
Section 1.01 (26) shall be added to read as follows:
Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier. Default: A Party’s violation of any material term or condition of the Agreement, or refusal or failure in any material respect to properly perform its obligations under this Agreement, including the failure to make any undisputed payment when due. A Party shall also be deemed in Default upon such Party’s insolvency or the initiation of bankruptcy or receivership proceedings by or against the Party or the failure to obtain or maintain any certification(s) or authorization(s) from the Commission which are necessary or appropriate for a Party to exchange traffic or order any service, facility or arrangement under this Agreement, or notice from the Party that it has ceased doing business in this State or receipt of publicly available information that signifies the Party is no longer doing business in this State.
Non-Administrator Ambulatory Surgical Facility means an Ambulatory Surgical Facility which does not meet the definition of an Administrator Ambulatory Surgical Facility.
Roomer means a person occupying a dwelling unit that lacks a major bathroom or kitchen facility, in a structure where one or more major facilities are used in common by occupants of the dwelling unit and other dwelling units. Major facility in the case of a bathroom means toilet, or either a bath or shower, and in the case of a kitchen means refrigerator, stove or sink.
Market Operations Center means the equipment, facilities and personnel used by or on behalf of a Market Participant to communicate and coordinate with the Office of the Interconnection in connection with transactions in the PJM Interchange Energy Market or the operation of the PJM Region.
Expandable condominium means a condominium to which additional land may be added in accordance with the provisions of the declaration and of this chapter.
Management Entity means the community developmental disability program or private corporation that operates the regional crisis diversion program, including acting as the fiscal agent for regional crisis diversion funds and resources.
Management Company means the firm overseeing the operation and management of the Participating Property; and shall mean the Grantee in any event wherein the Management Company is required to perform any obligations under this Agreement.
