Managed Device definition

Managed Device means any device on which any Affiliate in the Enterprise directly or indirectly controls one or more operating system environments. Examples of Managed Devices can be found in the Product Terms.
Managed Device means a Wi-Fi access point or a Managed Business Device as defined in Clause 2(h) herein below, provided by Etisalat as part of the Service.
Managed Device means a virtual or physical machine to which the CA Software controls access.

  • Verizon will provide relevant software patches and updates as provided by the Managed Device manufacturer from time to time for installation during a fixed update time period, mutually scheduled by the parties.

  • Verizon’s ability to control the implementation of any new Managed Device manufacturer software release may be limited by rules established by the Managed Device manufacturer software.

  • Warranties on software updates, if available, will be provided directly by the Managed Device manufacturer.

More Definitions of Managed Device

Managed Device means a virtual or physical system or application whose privileged account passwords are being managed by the CA Software, including but not limited to operating system instances, databases, applications, Command Line Interface Software Development Kits, Open Database Connectivity/Java Database Connectivity applications, Windows services and managed tasks, and managed configuration files. When CA Software is used (i) in connection with a Managed Device or (ii) in connection with a virtual or physical system or application that leverages or interoperates with a Managed Device (a “Password Consumer System or Application”), each such use of the CA Software shall be counted for the purposes of determining the Authorized Use Limitation.
Managed Device means any monitored component capable of producing a unique stream of telemetry messages and creating its own discrete event or log message feed such as servers, applications, network devices, routers and databases.
Managed Device means a computer, mobile device or other physical hardware or virtual machine that will: (a) directly or indirectly access or interact with the Software; (b) be monitored by the Software for security and/or compliance purposes; (c) access systems that are monitored for security and/or compliance purposes by the Software.
Managed Device is a Device that (1) is recognized by the Software as authorized to be configured, administered, managed, provisioned, monitored or otherwise acted upon by the Software or (2) has been configured, administered, managed, provisioned, monitored or otherwise acted upon by the Software.

For purposes hereof, and except as provided for under Section 1.3, the “License Term” begins on the date Moogsoft delivers to End User the Software Product or Software license keys, as applicable (in the case of the Software Product), or access credentials for logging in to the hosted service (in the case of the SaaS Product) to End User (the “Commencement Date”) and extends for the period specified in the applicable Order Form. The Product Offering shall be deemed to be accepted upon such delivery. For the avoidance of doubt, End User’s Affiliates (and employees thereof) shall not use the Product Offering without Moogsoft’s prior written consent. This Agreement supersedes any other agreement (including any click-through or electronic agreements within the Product Offering) between Moogsoft and End User with respect to the Product Offering. Any references in the Order Form to an “Agreement” or “XXXX” or other similar term shall be deemed to refer to this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, “Affiliates,” with respect to a party, means any entity controlling, controlled by or under common control with such party.
Managed Device means an Access Point, Firewall, Media Player or Managed Business Device as defined in Clause 2(s) herein below, provided by Etisalat as part of the Service.
Managed Device means any physical or virtual device for which any Management Function is performed, including but not limited to virtual machines, standalone computers, networked computers, computer servers, and handheld computing devices that Software operates with or executes on. A “Management Function” is any function performed by the Software for a device, including but not limited to any of (i) delivering, installing, migrating, updating or repairing any computer program or data file; or (ii) monitoring, tracking, or reporting on the status or history of any software or hardware components; or (iii) license entitlement tracking, license re-harvesting, license optimization, and license retirement.
