Margin Weight definition

Margin Weight means:the aggregate of a Clearing Member's total margin requirement (in respect of all of its Proprietary Accounts and all of its Client Accounts) for each type of Business undertaken by the Clearing Member averaged over the relevant Calculation Period preceding a determination of a Solvency Threatening Treasury Default Loss under Regulation 46A(b) below;divided bythe total average margin requirement of all Clearing Members (including FCM Clearing Members) during the same period; and

Examples of Margin Weight in a sentence

  • Nothing in the foregoing sentence shall prevent the Clearing House from introducing changes to the methodology used for calculating the SwapClear Margin Weight and, in particular, the average daily requirement for initial margin applied to an SCM for the purposes of such calculation may be determined by reference to the SwapClear Contracts comprising both the SwapClear House Business and the SwapClear Client Clearing Business of that SCM.

  • The FXCCM's ForexClear Non- Deliverable Contribution shall be calculated by multiplying the ForexClear Non-Deliverable Sub-Fund Amount by the FXCCM's ForexClear Non- Deliverable Margin Weight, and shall be no less than the Minimum ForexClear Contribution.

  • For the purposes of calculating the SwapClear Margin Weight under Rule S2(c) of the Rates Service Default Fund Supplement, the average daily requirement for initial margin applied to an SCM shall be determined by reference to the SwapClear Contracts comprising the SwapClear House Business of that SCM only.

  • For the purposes of calculating the ForexClear Margin Weight under Rule F2(d) of the ForexClear Default Fund Supplement, the uncovered stress loss of an FXCCM shall be determined by reference to the ForexClear Contracts entered into (1) on behalf of the relevantFXCCM and (2) with respect to the Clearing Clients and FCM Clients of such FXCCM.

  • For the purposes of calculating the SwapClear Margin Weight under Rule S2(c) of the SwapClear Default Fund Supplement, the average daily requirement for initial margin applied to an SCM shall be determined by reference to the SwapClear Contracts comprising the SwapClear House Business of that SCM only.

Related to Margin Weight

  • Margin Level means the percentage Equity to Necessary Margin ratio. It is calculated as (Equity / Necessary Margin) * 100%.

  • Operating Margin Customer means a Control Area purchasing Operating Margin pursuant to an agreement between such other Control Area and the LLC.

  • Margin Ratio is the percentage of the value of the Collateral up to which the Customer is permitted to borrow (or otherwise to secure other forms of financial accommodation) from the Company against the Collateral.

  • Маrgin Level for CFD trading shall mean the percentage of Equity to Necessary Margin ratio. It is calculated as: Margin Level = (Equity / Necessary Margin) x 100%.

  • Margin means 3 per cent. per annum;

  • Buyer’s Margin Percentage For any Purchased Asset as of any date, the percentage equivalent of the quotient obtained by dividing (a) one (1) by (b) the Applicable Percentage used to calculate the Purchase Price on the related Purchase Date.

  • Buyer’s Margin Amount”, with respect to any Transaction as of any date, the amount obtained by application of the Buyer’s Margin Percentage to the Repurchase Price for such Transaction as of such date;

  • Money Market Yield means a yield (expressed as a percentage) calculated in accordance with the following formula: Money Market Yield = D x 360 x 100 360 – (D x M) where “D” refers to the applicable per annum rate for commercial paper quoted on a bank discount basis and expressed as a decimal, and “M” refers to the actual number of days in the applicable Interest Reset Period.

  • Weighted Average SOFR means the arithmetic mean of SOFR in effect for each Business Day during the relevant Interest Period, calculated by multiplying the relevant SOFR by the number of calendar days such SOFR is in effect, determining the sum of such products and dividing such sum by the number of calendar days in the relevant Interest Period, provided however that during a Suspension Period, the SOFR for each day during that Suspension Period will be the value for the Business Day immediately prior to the first day of such Suspension Period. For purposes of this provision “Suspension Period” is the number of Business Days prior to the end of the relevant Interest Period as specified in the applicable pricing supplement.

  • Margin Excess the meaning specified in Paragraph 4(b) hereof;

  • Reliability Pricing Model Auction or “RPM Auction” shall mean the Base Residual Auction or any Incremental Auction, or, for the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 Delivery Years, any Capacity Performance Transition Incremental Auction.

  • Heat Rate means the quantity of BTU’s consumed to produce a kilowatt-hour of energy, calculated as follows:

  • Maximum Weighted Average Life Test means a test that will be satisfied on any date of determination if the Weighted Average Life of all Eligible Collateral Obligations included in the Collateral is less than or equal to 5.50 years.

  • Step Up Margin means the rate per annum specified in the applicable Final Terms; and

  • Margin Requirement means the amount of money and/ or assets that the Client is required to deposit and/ or hold with the Firm as consideration for entering into a Transaction and/ or maintaining an Open Position on its Account;

  • Minimum Weighted Average Spread Test means a test that will be satisfied on any day if the Weighted Average Spread of all Eligible Collateral Obligations included in the Collateral on such day is equal to or greater than 5.5%

  • Net Yield means, with respect to any Monthly Period, Portfolio Yield with respect to such Monthly Period minus the Base Rate with respect to such Monthly Period.

  • CD Margin means a rate per annum determined in accordance with the Pricing Schedule.

  • Retail margin means an amount, reflecting differences in

  • Pricing Level refers to the determination of which of Level I, Level II, Level III, Level IV, Level V or Level VI applies at any date.

  • Weighted Average Floating Spread means, as of any date of determination, the number, expressed as a percentage, obtained by summing the products obtained by multiplying, in the case of each Floating Rate Loan (excluding Defaulted Loans) on an annualized basis, the Spread of such Loans (including commitment, letter of credit and all other fees), by the Outstanding Loan Balance of such Loans as of such date and dividing such sum by the aggregate Outstanding Loan Balance of all such Floating Rate Loans and rounding the result up to the nearest 0.01%; provided that the Spread of any Revolver Loan which is not fully funded shall be the sum of:

  • Volume Weighted Average Price means, for any security as of any date, the daily dollar volume-weighted average price for such security on the Primary Market as reported by Bloomberg through its “Historical Prices – Px Table with Average Daily Volume” functions, or, if no dollar volume-weighted average price is reported for such security by Bloomberg, the average of the highest closing bid price and the lowest closing ask price of any of the market makers for such security as reported in the "pink sheets" by Pink Sheets LLC.

  • Maximum Concentration Level Assessment means the Maximum Concentration Level Assessment for the purposes of a Basic Comprehensive Certificate of Approval, described in the Basic Comprehensive User Guide, prepared by a Toxicologist using currently available toxicological information, that demonstrates that the concentration at any Point of Impingement for a Compound of Concern that does not have a Ministry Point of Impingement Limit is not likely to cause an adverse effect as defined by the EPA. The concentration at Point of Impingement for a Compound of Concern must be calculated in accordance with O. Reg. 419/05.

  • Weighted Average Life Test means a test that is satisfied at any such time if the Weighted Average Life as calculated on the date of determination is less than or equal to 5.5 years.

  • Necessary Margin for CFD trading shall mean the necessary margin required by the Company so as to maintain Open Positions.
