Median Income for the Area means the median income for the Area as most recently determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) and published by the State of California. In the event that such income determinations are no longer published, or are not updated for a period of at least eighteen (18) months, the County shall provide the Borrower with other income determinations which are reasonably similar with respect to methods of calculation to those previously published by HUD and the State.

As of any date, the median gross income for the Area as most recently determined by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, (or if such program is terminated, under such program as in effect immediately before such termination).
