Medical Materials definition

Medical Materials means biomedical materials generated at hospitals public or private medical clinics, 441 dental offices, research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, blood banks, mortuaries, veterinary 442 facilities, and other similar establishments that are identified as “medical waste” in Health and Safety 443 Code Section 25117.5 as may be amended from time to time. For the purposes of this Agreement, 444 untreated Medical Materials are not Franchised Solid Waste unless they have been treated and deemed 445 to be Solid Waste.
Medical Materials means materials for use by medical affairs Product Personnel in performing Medical Affairs Activities under the Co-Promotion and Medical Affairs Plan.
Medical Materials means durable and non-durable assets, including but not limited to medical supplies, pharmaceuticals and equipment, delivered from KDHE to the FACILITY pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Hazardous Waste, Untreated Medical Materials, and Designated Waste.

  • The receipt shall be executed by the FACILITY’s administrator or the administrator’s designee and shall be presented to the person delivering the Medical Materials upon delivery.

  • It is in the best interests of the citizens of the State of Kansas, of KDHE and of the FACILITY that plans are in place to promote the proper and efficient distribution of Medical Materials during an emergency incident.

  • The Medical Materials shall be kept physically separate from the FACILITY’s inventory.

  • The FACILITY shall not charge a fee for the provision of Medical Materials or for the use and dispersal of Medical Materials to patients.

  • The FACILITY shall maintain records of the type and in the form directed by KDHE for the accounting of Medical Materials received, used, returned, disposed of, or transferred to a local government, tribe or other entity.

  • The FACILITY shall maintain the Medical Materials in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and also in a safe and secure location during distribution, storage and dispensing.

  • Upon request by KDHE, the FACILITY shall return such unused Medical Materials as specified by KDHE.

  • This Medical Materials Agreement sets forth terms and conditions under which Medical Materials will be provided to the FACILITY.

  • In the event the FACILITY transfers Medical Materials to a local government, tribe or other entity, the FACILITY shall notify KDHE of the transfer, forward this Agreement with the transfer of the Medical Materials, and shall use its best efforts to ensure that such transferee complies with the terms of this Agreement.

Related to Medical Materials

  • Biological Materials means certain tangible biological materials that are necessary for the effective exercise of the Patent Rights, which materials are described on Exhibit A, as well as tangible materials that are routinely produced through use of the original materials, including, for example, any progeny derived from a cell line, monoclonal antibodies produced by hybridoma cells, DNA or RNA replicated from isolated DNA or RNA, recombinant proteins produced through use of isolated DNA or RNA, and substances routinely purified from a source material included in the original materials (such as recombinant proteins isolated from a cell extract or supernatant by non-proprietary affinity purification methods). These Biological Materials shall be listed on Exhibit A, which will be periodically amended to include any additional Biological Materials that Medical School may furnish to Company.

  • Biological Material means any material containing genetic information and capable of reproducing itself or being reproduced in a biological system;

  • Research Materials means all tangible materials other than Subject Data first produced in the performance of this CRADA.

  • Study Materials means all the materials and information created for the Study, or required to be submitted to the Sponsor including all data, results, Biological Samples, Case Report Forms (or their equivalent) in whatever form held, conclusions, discoveries, inventions, know-how and the like, whether patentable or not, relating to the Study, which are discovered or developed as a result of the Study, but excluding the Institution’s ordinary patient records.

  • Promotional Materials means the core written, printed, video or graphic advertising, promotional, educational and communication materials (other than Collaboration Product labeling) for marketing, advertising and promotion of the Collaboration Products.

  • Third Party Materials means any materials and information, including documents, data, know-how, ideas, methodologies, specifications, software, content, and technology, in any form or media, in which any Person other than the State or Contractor owns any Intellectual Property Right, but excluding Open-Source Components.

  • Regulatory Materials means regulatory applications, submissions, notifications, registrations, or other filings made to or with a Regulatory Authority that are necessary or reasonably desirable in order to develop, manufacture, market, sell or otherwise commercialize a product in a particular country or regulatory jurisdiction. Regulatory Materials include INDs, XXXx and NDAs (as applications, but not the approvals with respect thereto).

  • SAP Materials means any software, programs, tools, systems, data, or other materials made available by SAP or any other member of the SAP Group to Partner or to an End User (either directly or indirectly via Partner) prior to or in the course of the performance under any part of this Agreement including, but not limited to, the other SAP Products.

  • Program Materials means the documents and information provided by the Program Administrator specifying the qualifying EEMs, technology requirements, costs and other Program requirements, which include, without limitation, program guidelines and requirements, application forms and approval letters.

  • Contractor Materials means Materials owned or developed prior to the provision of the Work, or developed by Contractor independently from the provision of the Work and without use of the Court Materials or Confidential Information.

  • Developed Materials means Materials created, made, or developed by Contractor or Subcontractors, either solely or jointly with the Court or Court Contractors, in the course of providing the Work under this Agreement, and all Intellectual Property Rights therein and thereto, including, without limitation, (i) all work-in-process, data or information, (ii) all modifications, enhancements and derivative works made to Contractor Materials, and (iii) all Deliverables; provided, however, that Developed Materials do not include Contractor Materials.

  • Client Materials means the CLIENT Development Materials and the CLIENT Production Materials.

  • Clinical Data means the information concerning the safety or performance that is generated from the use of a device and that are sourced from the following:

  • Fill material means material deposited in accordance with these specifications from any of the classes specified in order to build up an earthworks construction to formation level as shown on the Drawings or as ordered by the Project Manager. The Contractor shall obtain the fill material from a source approved by the Project Manager.

  • Confidential Materials means all tangible materials containing Confidential Information, including without limitation written or printed documents and computer disks or tapes, whether machine or user readable.

  • Practice of radiologic technology means the application of x-rays to human beings for diagnostic or

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Manufacturing Materials means parts, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, plans, drawings, and information produced or acquired, or rights acquired, specifically to fulfill obligations set forth herein.

  • Manufacturing Know-How means, with respect to the Product or any Variant thereof, the technology, data, designs, processes, methods, specifications and other know-how used in connection with the formulation, manufacture, labeling, packaging, quality control, release testing, and production of the Product, and all ingredients used therein and portions thereof.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Proprietary Materials means tangible chemical, biological or physical materials (a) that are furnished by or on behalf of one Party to the other Party in connection with this Agreement, whether or not specifically designated as proprietary by the transferring Party or (b) that are otherwise conceived or reduced to practice in the conduct of the Research Collaboration.

  • Input Material means all documents, information, representations, statements and materials provided by Customer or a third party on behalf of Customer, relating to the Services, including computer programs, data, logos, reports and specifications and inventories.

  • IP Materials has the meaning given to it in clause E8.1 (Intellectual Property Rights).

  • Promotional Material means any communication that relates to the Company or its services made to or directed at, or that relates in any way to the solicitation of a Prospective Customer or a transaction in an Existing Customer’s trading account. Promotional Material includes, but is not limited to, published written texts, training materials, advertisements, market analysis, research reports, correspondence to Existing Customers or Prospective Customers, newsletters and generally anything written that assists in the solicitation process.

  • Third Party Material means software, software development tools, methodologies, ideas, methods, processes, concepts and techniques owned by, or licensed to a third party and used by the Service Provider in the performance of the Services;

  • GOODS / MATERIALS means any of the articles, materials, machinery, equipments, supplies, drawing, data and other property and all services including but not limited to design, delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning specified or required to complete the order.
