Minimum accrued benefit definition

Minimum accrued benefit means the sum of the annual retirement benefits accrued by a Participant under all qualified defined benefit retirement plans of the Company or any other member of the Affiliated Group that were in effect on May 6, 1986, as of the end of the last limitation year of such plans beginning before 1987, computed without regard to any changes in the provisions of such plans after May 5, 1986. The preceding sentence shall apply only if the plans described therein individually and collectively satisfied the requirements of Code Section 415 for all limitation years beginning before 1987.

  • Accrued Benefit means the amount standing in a Participant's Account(s) as of any date derived from both Employer contributions and Employee contributions, if any.

Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Annual Deferral Amount means that portion of a Participant's Base Annual Salary and Annual Bonus that a Participant elects to have, and is deferred, in accordance with Article 3, for any one Plan Year.
