Minimum Energy Quantity definition

Minimum Energy Quantity has the meaning as set forth in Exhibit B.
Minimum Energy Quantity means the minimum amount of energy that a Seller must deliver during a Delivery Period to avoid incurring responsibility for paying liquidated damages for non-performance.
Minimum Energy Quantity has the meaning specified in Part 7(a).

  • Where: ASG = Annual Supply Guarantee MEQ = Minimum Energy Quantity Where: MEQ = 0.1 x GNC x AH GNC = Gross Nameplate Capacity (in kW Direct Current or DC) AH = total number of Hours in each Delivery Period EH = total number of Excused Hours, as defined under Section 10.2 of the Agreement to which this Exhibit B is attached.

  • The form of the DSS Contract consists of a DSS Contract Cover Sheet, definitions, standard terms and conditions, and exhibits including pricing, a Supply Guarantee dependent upon a predefined Minimum Energy Quantity, liquidated damages, credit annex, and legally required clauses to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations.

  • If, in any Contract Year, Party B exceeds the Minimum Energy Quantity for such Contract Year, the Minimum Energy Quantity for the next Contract Year shall be reduced by the amount of any such excess.

  • Purchases of Energy to hedge locational basis risk shall not be credited toward the Minimum Energy Quantity for any Contract Year.

  • The quantity of Energy purchased by Party A from Party B shall be subtracted from the aggregate volume of Energy purchased hereunder during the relevant Contract Year for purposes of determining whether the applicable Minimum Energy Quantity has been purchased by Party B.

  • If Party A has exercised its right to extend the term of this Agreement, Party B shall purchase a Minimum Energy Quantity of 700,000 Mwhs in the aggregate during the fourth Contract Year.

Related to Minimum Energy Quantity

  • Contract Quantity means the quantity of Delivered Energy expected to be delivered by Seller during each Contract Year as set forth in the Cover Sheet.

  • Required Quantity in a unit price Contract shall mean the actual quantity of any item of Work or materials which is required to be performed or furnished in order to comply with the Contract.

  • Daily Quantity means the quantity of waste discharged during an operating day.

  • Type B quantity means a quantity of radioactive material greater than a Type A quantity.

  • Type A quantity means a quantity of radioactive material, the aggregate radioactivity of which does not exceed A1 for special form radioactive material or A2 for normal form radio- active material, where A1 and A2 are given in Appendix O or may be determined by procedures described in Appendix O.

  • tons means the gross tonnage calculated in accordance with the tonnage measurement regulations contained in Annex I of the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969; the word “tonnage” shall be construed accordingly.

  • Minimum Order Quantity means the minimum number of batches of a Product to be produced during the same cycle of manufacturing as set forth in a Product Agreement on Schedule B;

  • Energy year or "EY" means the 12-month period from June 1st

  • Small quantity generator means a generator who generates less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste in a calendar month.

  • Maximum Daily Quantity means the daily volume of Gas or Liquids, expressed in 103m3, identified in a Shipper's Interruptible Transportation Service Agreement that Transporter agrees to receive from Shipper under Toll Schedule Interruptible Full Path Service, Toll Schedule Interruptible Receipt Service or Toll Schedule Interruptible Delivery Service, as applicable.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per million.

  • Daily Contract Quantity or “DCQ” means the quantity of Gas as set out in Clause 4.1 herein.

  • Volume Commitment means the volume of NGLs that a Committed Shipper has guaranteed to ship on the Pipeline pursuant to its TSA.

  • Water quality volume means the volume equal to the first one-half inch of runoff multiplied by the impervious surface of the land development project.

  • Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;

  • MMBtu means one million British Thermal Units.

  • Minimum Extended Summer Resource Requirement means, for Delivery Years through May 31, 2017, the minimum amount of capacity that PJM will seek to procure from Extended Summer Demand Resources and Annual Resources for the PJM Region and for each Locational Deliverability Area for which the Office of the Interconnection is required under Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a) to establish a separate VRR Curve for such Delivery Year. For the PJM Region, the Minimum Extended Summer Resource Requirement shall be equal to the RTO Reliability Requirement minus [the Limited Demand Resource Reliability Target for the PJM Region in Unforced Capacity]. For an LDA, the Minimum Extended Summer Resource Requirement shall be equal to the LDA Reliability Requirement minus [the LDA CETL] minus [the Limited Demand Resource Reliability Target for such LDA in Unforced Capacity]. The LDA CETL may be adjusted pro rata for the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative.

  • Contract Minimum Investment Requirement means, with respect to the Project, investment by the Company and any Sponsor Affiliates of at least $4,000,000 in Economic Development Property subject (non-exempt) to ad valorem taxation (in the absence of this Fee Agreement).

  • Ethanol blended gasoline means the same as defined in section 214A.1.

  • Supply Point means the point of connection between the licensed network and your apparatus or equipment.

  • Dyed diesel fuel means diesel fuel that is dyed in accordance with internal revenue service rules or pursuant to any other internal revenue service requirements, including any invisible marker requirements.

  • Minimum Annual Resource Requirement means, for Delivery Years through May 31, 2017, the minimum amount of capacity that PJM will seek to procure from Annual Resources for the PJM Region and for each Locational Deliverability Area for which the Office of the Interconnection is required under Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a) to establish a separate VRR Curve for such Delivery Year. For the PJM Region, the Minimum Annual Resource Requirement shall be equal to the RTO Reliability Requirement minus [the Sub-Annual Resource Reliability Target for the RTO in Unforced Capacity]. The LDA CETL may be adjusted pro rata for the amount of load served under the FRR Alternative.

  • Base Capacity Resource Price Decrement means, for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 Delivery Years, a difference between the clearing price for Base Capacity Resources and the clearing price for Capacity Performance Resources, representing the cost to procure additional Capacity Performance Resources out of merit order when the Base Capacity Resource Constraint is binding.

  • Metered Quantity means apparent power, reactive power, active power, with associated time tagging and any other quantity that may be measured by a Party’s Metering Equipment and that is reasonably required by either Party for Security reasons or revenue requirements.

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Crude Petroleum means the direct product of oil wells or a mixture of the indirect products transportable like the direct products and containing not more than two percent (2%) of sediment, water, and other impurities.
