Mining Property definition

Mining Property means a property used for mining operations as defined in the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act No. 28 of 2002);

Examples of Mining Property in a sentence

  • During the Option Period, title to the Mining Property shall remain registered or recorded, as the case may be, in the name of the Optionor (or the Optionor Subco as the case may be).

  • During the Option Period, all Work conducted by the Operator or its Agents on or in respect of the Mining Property shall be done in a prudent and workmanlike manner to the best of its ability, skill and judgment and in accordance with good mining practice and in compliance with all Applicable Laws, including Environmental Laws, and in accordance with the terms of the applicable Mining Property, and any licences, permits and agreements pertaining to such Mining Property.

  • During the Option Period, the Operator shall pay or cause to be paid all Agents of the Operator, including workers or wage earners employed by the Operator on or in respect of the Mining Property and for all material purchased by the Operator in connection with all Work which might give rise to a lien or privilege on the Mining Property.

  • Save and except as provided in the foregoing first sentence of this Section 12.4(a) the Optionor shall not directly or indirectly sell, transfer, assign or convey this Agreement, the Mining Property, the Operating Permits or any of its rights, benefits, privileges or obligations hereunder to any Person without the prior written consent of the Optionee which may be withheld in its sole discretion.
