Examples of Lands in a sentence
The Lessee shall use the Lands entirely at its own risk and shall be liable for any loss, damage or expense suffered by the District as a direct result of the use of the Lands by the Lessee and its respective affiliates, agents, employees, contractors, subcontractors and invitees unless such loss, damage or expense is a result of the negligence or misconduct of the District, its employees, agents, servants, contractors or subcontractors.
The District agrees to take reasonable efforts to not commence any act or initiative with respect to the DOK Section, New Access Road or Lands that would negatively impact the rights granted by the District to the Lessee pursuant to this Lease or the ability of the Lessee to construct or access the New Access Road in a timely and cost effective manner.
The Concessionaire covenants that the Principal Contracts shall contain a provision that title to all Plant shall pass to the Concessionaire (and to the Province or BCTFA, as applicable, under this Section 2.12(a)) at the earliest of title to the Plant being acquired by the Principal Contractor and the Plant being affixed to or incorporated into the Concession Lands, the Concession Infrastructure, the Other Highway Lands or the Other Highway Infrastructure.
The Province will use all reasonable efforts to provide that each parcel of Specified Concession Lands and Specified Other Highway Lands will, when made available to the Concessionaire in accordance with Schedule 8 [Lands], be a “highway” as defined by the Transportation Act (British Columbia).
