In the event the Rent Increase Guideline is repealed and not replaced with similar legislation, Monthly Occupancy Costs may be adjusted based on annual changes to the Consumer Price Index - not seasonally adjusted, for all items - in January of each year for the Toronto Census Metropolitan Area (or, where available, the City of Toronto) as reported by Statistics Canada (the "CPI Adjustment"), to an amount not to exceed Average Market Rent.
