Municipal energy tax means a municipal energy sales and use tax under Title 10, Chapter 1, Part 3, Municipal Energy Sales and Use Tax Act.

Municipal energy tax means the municipal energy sales and use tax imposed by this Chapter.J. “Person” includes any individual; firm; partnership; joint venture; association; corporation; estate; trust; business trust; receiver; syndicate; the state of Utah; any county, city, municipality, district, or otherlocal governmental entity of the state of Utah; any group or combination acting as a unit; and such other entity as may be identified in UTAH CODE ANN. §59-12-102.K. “Sale” means any transfer of title, exchange, or barter, conditional or otherwise, in any manner, of taxable energy for a consideration, including but not necessarily limited to:

  • Energy Resource means a generating facility that is not a Capacity Resource.

  • energy storage means, in the electricity system, deferring the final use of electricity to a moment later than when it was generated, or the conversion of electrical energy into a form of energy which can be stored, the storing of such energy, and the subsequent reconversion of such energy into electrical energy or use as another energy carrier;

  • State Energy Commission means The State Energy Commission of Western Australia as described in section 7 of the State Energy Commission Xxx 0000;

  • Energy storage system means a system which stores energy and releases it in the same form as was input.

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.
