NATO Contractors definition

NATO Contractors means persons and legal entities who are supplying goods and services in Afghanistan to or on behalf of NATO Forces under a contract or subcontract with or in support of NATO, NATO Member States, or Operational Partners.

  • Members of the Force and Members of the Civilian Component, NATO Personnel, NATO Contractors, and those NATO Contractor Employees who are not Afghan nationals, may import into, export out of, re-export out of, transport, and use in Afghanistan personal effects.

  • All buildings, non-relocatable structures, and assemblies connected to the soil at the Agreed Facilities and Areas, including those constructed, used, altered, or improved by NATO Forces, are for the exclusive use of NATO Forces, NATO Contractors, and NATO Contractor Employees, and for others as mutually agreed.

  • Access to these service support activities shall be restricted to Members of the Force, Members of the Civilian Component, NATO Personnel, NATO Contractors and NATO Contractor Employees and others as may be authorized.

  • The Parties agree that NATO Contractors and NATO Contractor Employees are not permitted to wear military uniforms and may only carry weapons in accordance with Afghan laws and regulations.

  • The relevant Afghan authorities reserve the right of verification of any container imported by NATO Contractors and NATO Contractor Employees containing items for NATO Forces’ purposes in Afghanistan or for personal use, as authorized in paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article.

  • The authorizations in this paragraph do not cover the activities of NATO Contractors that are not related to the presence of NATO Forces in Afghanistan.

  • If Afghan authorities suspect the abuse of the privileges granted in paragraph 2 of this Article to NATO Contractors and NATO Contractor Employees, then relevant Afghan authorities reserve the right of inspection of such personal effects when arriving or departing from civilian airports in Afghanistan or in personal vehicles at border crossings.

  • NATO Forces and NATO Contractors may import into, export out of, re-export out of, transport, and use in Afghanistan any equipment, supplies, materiel, technology, training, or services.

  • NATO Forces and NATO Contractors shall retain title to all equipment, materiel, supplies, relocatable structures, and other movable property they have installed in, imported into, or acquired within the territory of Afghanistan in connection with the presence of NATO Forces and NATO Contractors in Afghanistan.

  • TO Contractor means the CATS+ Master Contractor awarded this TO Agreement, whose principal business address is .

  • Vendors means the proposer(s) responding to this RFP and vendor(s) to whom a contract has been awarded as a result of this RFP by SMSD. A responsible vendor is a vendor who has adequate financial resources (or the ability to obtain such resources), can comply with the delivery requirements, and is a qualified and established firm regularly engaged in the type of business that provides the product(s) /service(s) listed herein.

  • Contractor's Personnel means the personnel to be provided by the Contractor to provide services as per the contract.

  • Contractor Parties means a Contractor’s members, directors, officers, shareholders, partners, managers, principal officers, representatives, agents, servants, consultants, employees or any one of them or any other person or entity with whom the Contractor is in privity of oral or written contract (e.g. subcontractor) and the Contractor intends for such other person or entity to perform under the Contract in any capacity. For the purpose of this Contract, vendors of support services, not otherwise known as human service providers or educators, shall not be considered subcontractors, e.g. lawn care, unless such activity is considered part of a training, vocational or educational program.

  • Supplier/Contractor means the individual, firm or company with whom the contract has been concluded for supplying the Goods and Services under the Contract. The Supplier/Contractor shall be deemed to include its successors (approved by the purchaser), representatives, heirs, executors, administrators and permitted;

  • Prime Contractor as used in this clause, means a person who has entered into a prime contract with the United States.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Suppliers means any person or entity, including affiliates of the Company, who locates, purchases, sells, stores and/or transports natural gas or its equivalent for or on behalf of the Company. Suppliers may include, but not be limited to, interstate pipeline transmission companies, producers, brokers, marketers, associations, intrastate pipeline transmission companies, joint ventures, providers of LNG, LPG, SNG, and other hydrocarbons used as feed-stock, other distribution companies and end-users.

  • Contractor Group means the Contractor, its subcontractors of any tier, its and their respective Affiliates, successors and permitted assignees, and its and their respective directors, officers, employees (including agency personnel);

  • Central Contracts and Legal Services means the DSHS central headquarters contracting office, or successor section or office.

  • Sub-contracting means the primary contractor’s assigning or leasing or making out work to, or employing another person to support such primary contractor in the execution of part of a project in terms of the contract.

  • Plumbing contractor means a licensed master plumber or a person who employs a licensed master plumber full-time to directly supervise the installation of plumbing as his or her representative engaged in the business of plumbing for a fixed sum, price, fee percentage, valuable consideration, or other compensation and who is licensed as a plumbing contractor.

  • The Sub-Contractor means any person, firm or company (other than the Contractor) to whom any part of the work has been entrusted by the Contractor with the written consent of the Engineer-In-Charge and the legal representative successors and permitted assignee of such person, firm or company.

  • Other Contractors means any contractor (other than the entity which executed this Contract or its Subcontractors) who or which has a contract with the City for work on or adjacent to the building or Site of the Work.

  • Contractor / Vendor means the Tenderer whose bid has been accepted and awarded Letter of Acceptance for a specific item followed by the signing of Contract.

  • General Contractor means a person or entity duly licensed in the state of Florida with the requisite skills, experience and credit worthiness to successfully provide the units required in the Application, and which meets the criteria described in Rule 67-48.0072, F.A.C.

  • Subcontractor means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a prime contractor or another subcontractor.

  • Main Contractor means the contractor with a direct contractual relationship with the employer of the construction contract.
