Natural Heritage System definition

Natural Heritage System means that part of the Region shown as Natural Heritage System on Schedule “A” to this By-law and areas identified as Natural Heritage System on Schedule “A” to this By-law reflect the Region’s Natural Heritage System. The Natural Heritage System is shown on Schedule “A” to this By-law for illustrative purposes only and does not impact the categorization of the land to which the Natural Heritage System overlay is shown as Recovery DC Area (2012-2021) for the purposes of this By-law;
Natural Heritage System means the Natural Heritage System shown in Schedule 4 to the Greenbelt Plan;
Natural Heritage System or “NHS” means the interconnected system of natural heritage features and areas in the Town Official Plan, consisting of the Regional Natural Heritage System and the Greenbelt Natural Heritage System as defined in the Official Plan;

  • Gates are not permitted in fences when the lots are adjacent to the Natural Heritage System, vista, walkway, school, stormwater management pond, park and/or woodlot.

Natural Heritage System means any geographic area of the Town shown as shown on Schedule D of this By-law.
