NAV of the Fund definition

NAV of the Fund means (i) the aggregate value of the assets of the Fund, less (ii) the aggregate value of the liabilities of the Fund (the Preferred Shares will not be treated as liabilities for these purposes), including any distributions declared and not paid that are payable to Shareholders on or before such date, less (iii) the stated capital of the Class B Shares ($1,000) as described in the current annual information form of the Fund.
NAV of the Fund means the net asset value of the Fund calculated as described under the heading “Valuation of the Fund”;

  • However, a 5% allowance in excess of any limit or restriction may be permitted where the limit or restriction is breached through the appreciation or depreciation in the NAV of the Fund (as a result of an appreciation or depreciation in value of investments or as a result of the purchase of Units or payment made from the Fund).
