System Security means the secure state of the Grid achieved when the System Operator acts in accordance with its principal performance obligations in relation to common quality and dispatch that are set out in Part 7 of the Code;
of a Security means the principal of the Security plus the premium, if any, payable on the Security which is due or overdue or is to become due at the relevant time.
Quasi-Security means an arrangement or transaction described in paragraph (b) below.
LCR Security means any commercial paper or security (other than equity securities issued to Parent or any Originator that is a consolidated subsidiary of Parent under GAAP) within the meaning of Paragraph .32(e)(viii) of the final rules titled Liquidity Coverage Ratio: Liquidity Risk Measurement Standards, 79 Fed. Reg. 197, 61440 et seq. (October 10, 2014).
Cyber Security means the condition in which road vehicles and their functions are protected from cyber threats to electrical or electronic components.
Reference Security means the security specified as such in the relevant Final Terms. If a Reference Security is no longer outstanding, a Similar Security will be chosen by the Quotation Agent at 11:00 a.m. (CET) on the third Business Day preceding the Make-whole Redemption Date, quoted in writing by the Quotation Agent to the Issuer and published in accordance with Condition 12 (Notices).
Network Element is As Defined in the Act.
Cybersecurity means the measures taken to protect a computer, computer network, or computer system against unauthorized use or access.
Security means a mortgage, charge, pledge, lien or other security interest securing any obligation of any person or any other agreement or arrangement having a similar effect.
Similar Security means a reference bond or reference bonds issued by the same issuer as the Reference Security having an actual or interpolated maturity comparable with the remaining term of the Notes that would be utilised, at the time of selection and in accordance with customary financial practice, in pricing new issues of corporate debt securities of comparable maturity to the remaining term of the Notes.
German Security means the assets which are the subject of a security document which is governed by German law.
Russian Security means a Security issued by a Russian issuer.
Loaned Security means any “security” which is delivered as a Loan under a Securities Loan Agreement; provided that, if any new or different security shall be exchanged for any Loaned Security by recapitalization, merger, consolidation, or other corporate action, such new or different security shall, effective upon such exchange, be deemed to become a Loaned Security in substitution for the former Loaned Security for which such exchange was made.
National security means the national defense and foreign relations of the United States.
Relevant Security means the Stock, any other equity security of the Company or any of its subsidiaries and any security convertible into, or exercisable or exchangeable for, any Stock or other such equity security.
Purchase or Sale of a Security means obtaining or disposing of "Beneficial Ownership" of that Security and includes, among other things, the writing of an option to purchase or sell a Security.
Network Load means the load that a Network Customer designates for Network Integration Transmission Service under Tariff, Part III. The Network Customer’s Network Load shall include all load (including losses) served by the output of any Network Resources designated by the Network Customer. A Network Customer may elect to designate less than its total load as Network Load but may not designate only part of the load at a discrete Point of Delivery. Where an Eligible Customer has elected not to designate a particular load at discrete points of delivery as Network Load, the Eligible Customer is responsible for making separate arrangements under Tariff, Part II for any Point-To-Point Transmission Service that may be necessary for such non-designated load.
Bid Security means the bid security provided by the Contractor to the Authority in accordance with the Request for Proposal, and which is to remain in force until substituted by the Performance Security;
Network Rail means Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (Company registration number 02904587) whose registered office is at 1 Eversholt Street, London, NW1 2DN and any associated company of Network Rail which holds property for railway purposes, and for the purpose of this definition “associated company” means any company which is (within the meaning of section 1159 (meaning of “subsidiary” etc.) of the Companies Act 2006) the holding company of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited, a subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited or another subsidiary of the holding company of Network Rail Infrastructure Limited;
Company Security means any class or series of equity or voting interest in the Company (but excluding any options, rights, warrants and appreciation rights relating to an equity or voting interest in the Company), including Common Shares and the Voting Share.
Network User means a customer or a potential customer of a transmission system operator, and transmission system operators themselves in so far as it is necessary for them to carry out their functions in relation to transmission;
Clearing Corporation Security means securities which are in the custody of or maintained on the books of a Clearing Corporation or a nominee subject to the control of a Clearing Corporation and, if they are Certificated Securities in registered form, properly endorsed to or registered in the name of the Clearing Corporation or such nominee.
Proposal Security means the proposal bond as described in Section 3.3 of Exhibit B to the ITP.
Additional Security has the meaning given in clause 10.6;
Security Right includes any right relating to issuance, sale, assignment, transfer, purchase, redemption, conversion, exchange, registration or voting and includes rights conferred by statute, by the issuer's governing documents or by agreement.
Information Security (GSN GISN 5) is all the means and functions ensuring the accessibility, confidentiality or integrity of information or communications, excluding the means and functions intended to safeguard against malfunctions. This includes "cryptography", "cryptographic activation", 'cryptanalysis', protection against compromising emanations and computer security.
