Network Investigator definition

Network Investigator means an individual: (a) Who is eligible to receive Grant funds from one of the Granting Agencies, and who is affiliated with a Network Member; (b) Who has been accepted as an investigator in the Network by the Board; (c) Who has signed the Acknowledgement attached as Annex A to this Network Agreement; and (d) Who has signed the Consent to Disclosure form attached as Annex B to this Network Agreement.
Network Investigator are researchers who are affiliated to a BL-Network Member and undertake research and commercialization initiatives to further the goals of the BL-Network.

  • The Network Investigator shall ensure that the appropriate agreements concerning the disclosure of Confidential Information and the transfer of biological and other materials are entered into prior to any disclosure of Confidential Information or transfer of material by the Network Investigator.

  • An adverse event can further be broadly defined as any untoward deviation from baseline health, which includes:• Worsening of conditions present at the onset of the study• Deterioration due to the primary disease• Intercurrent illness• Events related or possibly related to concomitant medications(International Centers for Tropical Disease Research Network Investigator Manual, Monitoring and Reporting Adverse Events, 2003).

  • In all presentations and publications of results of Network Research, the Network Investigator shall acknowledge the author’s participation in the Network and the support of the NCE Program and Granting Agencies, and shall also refer to industrial support where appropriate (subject to written permission to do so where appropriate).

  • Where the Network determines that a Network Investigator has failed to comply with the duties and responsibilities set out in this Agreement, it shall promptly notify the Participating Institution and the Network Investigator of the particulars.

  • The Network Investigator shall participate in Network committees and in other Network activities as required.

  • Investigator means an individual who is:

  • Study means the investigation to be conducted in accordance with the Protocol.

  • Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) means an individual who instructs and assists individuals in the alcohol testing process and who operates the EBT.

  • Project Management The individuals appointed by each Party cf. clause 4.1 in the Agreement.

  • Screening means the evaluation process used to identify an individual's ability to perform activities of daily living and address health and safety concerns.

  • Pharmacy technician or “technician” means a person who is employed in Iowa by a licensed pharmacy under the responsibility of an Iowa-licensed pharmacist to assist in the technical functions of the practice of pharmacy, and who is registered pursuant to 657—Chapter 3, and includes a certified pharmacy technician, a pharmacy technician trainee, and an uncertified pharmacy technician.

  • Screening Test Technician (STT) means anyone who instructs and assists individuals in the alcohol testing process and operates an ASD.

  • Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.

  • Program Manager means the HCAI manager responsible for the grant program.

  • Specialist Physician means a licensed physician who qualifies as an attending physician and who examines a patient at the request of the attending physician or authorized nurse practitioner to aid in evaluation of disability, diagnosis, or provide temporary specialized treatment. A specialist physician may provide specialized treatment for the compensable injury or illness and give advice or an opinion regarding the treatment being rendered, or considered, for a patient’s compensable injury.

  • Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier. Default: A Party’s violation of any material term or condition of the Agreement, or refusal or failure in any material respect to properly perform its obligations under this Agreement, including the failure to make any undisputed payment when due. A Party shall also be deemed in Default upon such Party’s insolvency or the initiation of bankruptcy or receivership proceedings by or against the Party or the failure to obtain or maintain any certification(s) or authorization(s) from the Commission which are necessary or appropriate for a Party to exchange traffic or order any service, facility or arrangement under this Agreement, or notice from the Party that it has ceased doing business in this State or receipt of publicly available information that signifies the Party is no longer doing business in this State.

  • Certified pharmacy technician or “certified technician” means an individual who holds a valid current national certification and who has registered with the board as a certified pharmacy technician.

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Contractor Representative means any of the following:

  • clinical investigation means any systematic investigation in one or more human subjects, undertaken to assess the safety or performance of a device;

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • Project Management Plan means the portion of the Project Development Plan providing the information requested in Section 4.2 of Exhibit B to the ITP.

  • Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database means the primary Government repository for Contractor information required for the conduct of business with the Government.

  • WorkSafeBC means the Workers Compensation Board, a provincial Crown corporation created pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act (British Columbia);

  • Licensed site remediation professional means an individual

  • Project Manager means the principal employee or agent of the Recipient having administrative authority over the Project designated in Appendix B pursuant to Section VI hereof, or authorized designee as per written notification to the Director.
