New Apprenticeship definition

New Apprenticeship means an apprenticeship begun for a person who has not held an apprenticeship card within ninety (90) days prior to beginning the project.

Examples of New Apprenticeship in a sentence

  • The Commonwealth New Apprenticeship Scheme allows existing employees to be considered as trainees for the purposes of acquiring recognised industry qualifications.

  • Further study in Certificate II or III in Automotive and/ or a School Based New Apprenticeship and/or a Full Apprenticeship in the automotive industry may follow.

  • Any existing award provisions for the Australian Vocational Education and Training system shall not apply to any employer bound by this clause, except in relation to New Apprentices who commenced a New Apprenticeship with the employer before the employer was bound by this Agreement.

  • Upon successful completion of a Traineeship (New Apprenticeship) program, and meeting ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ performance criteria, the employee shall be offered on-going permanent employment with ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ for at least as many hours as they spent on the job (on an average per week basis) during their Traineeship.

  • The Employer may also enrol existing employees in the New Apprenticeship Skill Incentive Program (or equivalent).
