New Investment definition

New Investment has the meaning given to that term in Clause 24.1 (Financial definitions).
New Investment means the aggregate amount of any capital contribution and any amount subscribed for by the shareholders of the Company for any class of shares in the Parent or for Shareholder Loans or other subordinated debt lent to the Company which is subordinated under the Intercreditor Agreement and charged or pledged pursuant to the Transaction Security Documents on substantially the same basis as the Shareholder Loan Instruments (or otherwise on terms acceptable to the Majority Lenders) or payment into the capital reserves (or otherwise) carrying no creditor rights.
New Investment refers to investments relating to discovery, exploration, development and/or utilization of new RE resources or the development of new Generation Facilities within the Contract Area distinct from the originally registered operations having separate books of accounts;

More Definitions of New Investment

New Investment means the increase in the applicant's purchases of microbusiness buildings and depreciable personal property located in this state, not including vehicles required to be registered for operation on the roads and highways of this state, during the taxable year as compared with the previous taxable year. If the buildings or depreciable personal property is leased, the amount of new investment is the increase in average net annual rents multiplied by the number of years of the lease for which the taxpayer is bound, not exceeding ten years. For the purposes of calculating the increase in new investment, the employer may not include any increases in rents for property leased before the current taxable year. Only rents for leases completed in the current taxable year may be included.
