Nursing technician definition
Nursing technician means a nursing student pre- paring for RN or LPN licensure who meets the qualifications for licensure under RCW 18.79.340 who is employed in a hospital licensed under chapter 70.41 RCW or a nursing home licensed under chapter 18.51 RCW, or clinic. The nurs- ing student must be in a nursing educational program in the United States or its territories that is approved by the National Council Licensure Examination-RN or National Council Licensure Examination-PN. Approved nursing education programs do not include nontraditional schools as defined in subsection (((27))) (26) of this section.
