Observation Period End Date definition

Observation Period End Date means, in respect of a Share, the date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms, which shall be the last day of the relevant Observation Period. Such day shall be included in or excluded from such Observation Period, as specified in the applicable Final Terms.

Observation Period End Date means each date specified as such in Annex 3.

Observation Period End Date means, in respect of an Index, each date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms, subject to adjustment in accordance with the provisions of “Observation Date”, “Valuation Date” or otherwise as specified in the applicable Final Terms, if applicable.

Examples of Observation Period End Date in a sentence

• If there are any Unsettled Credit Events as at the Credit Event Observation Period End Date, the Warrant Extended Maturity Date may not be the final maturity date for the Notes and the final maturity date will be the later of the Extended CDS Termination Date and the Warrant Extended Maturity Date.

• If there are any Unsettled Credit Events as at the Credit Event Observation Period End Date, the Warrant Extended Maturity Date will not be the final maturity date for the Securities and the final maturity date will be the Extended CDS Maturity Date, as described below.

• In respect of each Unsettled Credit Event where an Auction Final Price or, where applicable, Final Price is determined following the Credit Event Observation Period End Date, the Credit Suisse Cash Settlement Amount shall be payable in the manner described above under “Consequence of Credit Events and Unsettled Credit Events, including partial redemption of Class B Notes” during the period between the Scheduled Maturity Date and the Extended CDS Termination Date.

• All references in the Prospectus to the date “4 January 2020” (being both the Scheduled Maturity Date and the Credit Event Observation Period End Date) shall be deleted in their entirety and replaced with the date “27 December 2019” which shall be both the Scheduled Maturity Date and the Credit Event Observation Period End Date.

• The consequences of the occurrence of a Credit Event or the existence of any Unsettled Credit Events as at the Credit Event Observation Period End Date are described in more detail below.

More Definitions of Observation Period End Date

Observation Period End Date means, in respect of an Index, the date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms, which shall be the last day of the relevant Observation Period. Such day shall be included in or excluded from such Observation Period, as specified in the applicable Final Terms.

Observation Period End Date means, if "Observation Period" is specified to be applicable in the relevant Pricing Supplement, in respect of a Share, the date specified as such in the relevant Pricing Supplement, which shall be the last day of the relevant Observation Period, and shall be included or excluded from the Observation Period, as provided in the relevant Pricing Supplement.

Observation Period End Date means the scheduled Equity Valuation Date.

Observation Period End Date means the day which falls two Business Days before the last day of the InterestPeriod.

Observation Period End Date means, in respect of an Index, each date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms.

Observation Period End Date means, if "Observation Period" is specified to be applicable in the applicable Final Terms, in respect of an Observation Rate, the date specified as such in the applicable Final Terms, which shall be the last day of the relevant Observation Period, and shall be included or excluded from the Observation Period, as provided in the applicable Final Terms.
