Offense committed with a deadly weapon or "offense" means: (A) A violation of subsection (c) of section 2-1e, subsection (e) of section 29-28, subsections (a) to (e), inclusive, or (i) of section 29-33, as amended by this act, section 29-34, as amended by this act, subsection (a) of section 29-35, section 29-36, as amended by this act, 29-36k, as amended by this act, 29-37a, as amended by this act, or 29-37e, subsection (c) of section 29-37g, section 29-37j, as amended by this act, subsection (b), (c) or (g) of section 53-202, section 53-202b, as amended by this act, 53-202c, as amended by this act, 53-202j, 53-202k, 53-202l, as amended by this act, 53-202aa, as amended by this act, or 53-206b, subsection (b) of section 53a-8, section 53a-55a, 53a-56a, 53a-60a, 53a-60c, 53a-72b, 53a-92a, 53a-94a, 53a-102a, 53a-103a, 53a-211, 53a-212, as amended by this act, 53a-216, 53a- 217, as amended by this act, 53a-217a, as amended by this act, 53a-217b or 53a-217c, as amended by this act, or a second or subsequent violation of section 53-202g of the general statutes, as amended by this act; or (B) a violation of any section of the general statutes which constitutes a felony, as defined in section 53a-25 of the general statutes, provided the court makes a finding that, at the time of the offense, the offender used a deadly weapon, or was armed with and threatened the use of or displayed or represented by words or conduct that the offender possessed a deadly weapon;

  • Sex offense means an offense defined as a sex offense in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Criminal sexual activity means the commission of an act as defined in Section 886 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which is the act of sodomy; and

  • Violent criminal activity means any criminal activity that has as one of its elements the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force substantial enough to cause, or be reasonably likely to cause, serious bodily injury or property damage.

  • Natural radioactivity means radioactivity of naturally occurring nuclides.

  • Deadly weapon means any weapon, whether loaded or unloaded, from which a shot may be discharged, or a switchblade knife, gravity knife, billy, blackjack, bludgeon, or metal knuckles.

  • Commercial sexual activity means any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to, promised to, or received by any person.

  • Pattern of racketeering activity means the planned, ongoing, continuous or repeated participation or involvement in any offence referred to in Schedule 1 and includes at least two offences referred to in Schedule 1, of which one of the offences occurred after the commencement of this Act and the last offence occurred within 10 years (excluding any period of imprisonment) after the commission of such prior offence referred to in Schedule 1;

  • Disqualifying offense means a conviction directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the profession. A conviction is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the profession if either

  • Expected week of childbirth means the week, starting on a Sunday, during which the mother's doctor or midwife expects her to give birth.

  • Competitive Activity will not include (i) the mere ownership of securities in any such enterprise and the exercise of rights appurtenant thereto or (ii) participation in the management of any such enterprise other than in connection with the competitive operations of such enterprise.

  • Radioactive marker means radioactive material placed subsurface or on a structure intended for subsurface use for the purpose of depth determination or direction orientation.

  • Violent felony means any offense that, if committed by an adult, would constitute a felony and:

  • Eligible Crisis or Emergency means an event that has caused, or is likely to imminently cause, a major adverse economic and/or social impact to the Recipient, associated with a natural or man-made crisis or disaster.

  • Regulated Activity means any generation, treatment, storage, recycling, transportation, disposal or release of any Hazardous Substances.

  • Commercial activity means any activity or employment of the vessel for which a contract or charter party is in force and includes the carriage of any cargo or persons for reward;

  • Attack directed against any civilian population means a course of conduct involving the multiple commission of acts referred to in paragraph 1 against any civilian population, pursuant to or in furtherance of a State or organizational policy to commit such attack;

  • Serious offense means any of the following felonies or a felony attempt to commit any of the following felonies, as now existing or hereafter amended:

  • Drug-related criminal activity means the illegal manufacture, sale, distribution, use, or possession with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute, or use of a controlled substance (as defined in Section 102 or the Controlled Substance Act [21 U.S.C. 802]).

  • Criminal street gang-related offense means any felony or

  • Date of conviction means the date judgment was entered against the individual.

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation or "CPR" means artificial ventilation or external

  • Chemical dependency professional means a person certified as a chemical dependency professional by the department of health under chapter 18.205 RCW.

  • Nonviolent offense means an offense which is not a violent
