The Health and Human Services Commission (“HHSC” or “System Agency”), a pass-through entity, and Deep East Texas Council of Governments (“Grantee” or “Contractor”) (each a “Party” and collectively the “Parties”) enter into the following grant agreement to fund services provided under the Older Americans Act of 1965 (“OAA”) (the “Contract”).
CONTRACTOR shall provide oral reports regarding the administrative services provided pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, including, without limitation, the type and quantity of Older Americans Act funded services being provided to, and the unmet needs of, the older adults of Humboldt County, to the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors on a quarterly or annual basis as determined by COUNTY.
CONTRACTOR shall provide administrative support services that are designed to assist COUNTY with the development, implementation and administration of an area plan relating to the services and support provided to older adults of Humboldt County which complies with any and all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and standards, including, without limitation, the requirements set forth in the Older Americans Act and the regulations promulgated by the California Department of Aging.
This Lease is contingent upon ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s continued ability to provide senior citizen food service and nutritional programs in accordance with Title IIIC of the Older Americans Act.
