Open Access Customers definition
Open Access Customers means a consumer permitted by the Commission to receive supply of electricity from a person, other than Distribution Licensee of his area of supply and the expression includes a generating company and a licensee, who has availed of or intends to avail of open access.

The Long Term Transmission Customers agree with the TSP to provide such access to the Open Access Customers.
The Regulations in this part shall apply to the users of intra-State transmission system (i.e. Generating Companies, Licensees (i.e. Transmission, Distribution & Trading Companies) and Open Access Customers), who are monitored/serviced by the State Load Despatch Centre (SLDC) and utilized for determination of Fees and Charges to be collected by the SLDC.
