Other Health Care Facility definition

Other Health Care Facility. (ies) means any facility licensed in accordance with the laws of the appropriate legally authorized agency, other than acute care Hospitals and those facilities providing services to ventilator dependent patients, which provides inpatient services at an intermediate or lower level of care such as skilled nursing care, Residential Treatment and Rehabilitation Services.

Other Health Care Facility means any specialized center or clinic or that portion of a physician's 668 office developed for the provision of outpatient or ambulatory surgery, cardiac catheterization, compute 669 tomographic (CT) scanning, gamma knife surgery, lithotripsy, magnetic source imaging (MSI), medical 670 rehabilitation, nuclear medicine imaging, positron emission tomographic (PET) scanning or radiation 671 therapy. "Other health care facility" shall not include any facility of the Department of Mental Health, 672 Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.
