Outdoor Fire definition

Outdoor Fire means any fire not contained within a building or structure and shall include fire involving humus soil, piles of coal, farm produce, waste, brush, grass, seed, straw or any fire that has escaped or spread from a building, structure, machine or vehicle and any fire set for the purpose of thawing frozen ground
Outdoor Fire means a fire that burns outdoors in the open air that is not enclosed in a fireplace, furnace or other such device, but does not include a controlled fire ignited for the burning of tobacco products for personal consumption nor the mere striking of a match.
Outdoor Fire means a fire in the open air where the products of combustion are not conveyed and disposed of by means of a chimney constructed and maintained in accordance with the B.C. Building Code and the B.C. Fire Code and excludes beach fires and camp fires.

  • That issue is managed by a separate Auckland Council bylaw – the Outdoor Fire Safety Bylaw 2014 – and by several rules in Auckland’s Unitary Plan.

More Definitions of Outdoor Fire

Outdoor Fire means every fire that burns in the open air and is not completely enclosed;

Outdoor Fire means any fire that burns in the open air, or outside a building, whether or not it is completely enclosed in an incinerator, furnace or other device, but does not include a campfire, a barbecue, or a fire for the purpose of a ceremony, where all regulations of the applicable Fire Department and any other AHJ are observed.
