Participating Communities definition

Participating Communities means groups of households living within low-income areas of districts or wards of the Project Cities selected for upgrading, which have chosen to participate in the Project by joining in the preparation, and committing to the implementation of Community Upgrading Plans; and a “Participating Community” means any of said Participating Communities.
Participating Communities means the municipal corporation or corporations existing under the laws of the state of Florida, located within the COUNTY that enter into this Standard Agreement with COUNTY for Participation in the Consolidated Regional E-911 Communications System.
Participating Communities means the cities of Alleman, Altoona, Ankeny, Bondurant, Carlisle, Clive, Des Moines, Elkhart, Granger, Grimes, Johnston, Mitchellville, Pleasant Hill, Polk City, Runnells, Urbandale, West Des Moines, Windsor Heights, and including Polk County, together with any other cities or counties that become Participating Communities under the provisions of this Agreement.

Examples of Participating Communities in a sentence

  • Participating Communities shall be credited for over payments or billed for shortfalls, as appropriate.

  • Not less frequently than annually, the Executive Director shall reconcile cumulative payments made by the Participating Communities into the Revolving Fund against cumulative amounts owed.

  • The Board of Directors shall appoint a Secretary and Treasurer (who may be the same person), who may be a treasurer of one of the Participating Communities in the District.

Participating Communities means the Borrower’s rural communities and villages participating in the Project through CDWUUs.
Participating Communities mean communities of about 1000 to 10,000 inhabitants in the Recipient’s Les Cayes region which, in accordance with criteria set forth in the Operational Manual, have been determined eligible to participate in Project implementation.
