Participating Community definition

Participating Community means a municipality or a county:

Participating Community means one of the Mi’kmaq Bands in Nova Scotia that has ratified the Final Agreement prior to its coming into force, or has chosen to ratify the Final Agreement in accordance with the provisions contained therein .

Examples of Participating Community in a sentence

• All amendments shall be in writing and shall be executed by the Chief Administrative Officer of each Participating Community.

• All correspondence or other notice related to this District Agreement shall be in writing and delivered to each Participating Community to the address and contact person provided from time to time by each Participating Community.

• The County shall provide an annual report on the Operator’s performance to each Participating Community, Police Chief’s Association and Fire Chief’s Association.

• The term "Administrative Call" shall mean a call received in a Host PSAP that is not an Emergency Call or a Non-Emergency Call and is specific to a Participating Community.

• Each Participating Community shall be charged according to an equal ratio based upon population (50%) and 911 calls (50%) received.

More Definitions of Participating Community

Participating Community or "Participating Communities" shall mean the municipal corporation or corporations existing under the laws of the state of Florida, located within the COUNTY that enter into this Standard Agreement with COUNTY for Participation in the Consolidated Regional E-911 Communications System.

Participating Community means a municipality that has an effective memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Cuyahoga County for shared mobility operations.

Participating Community means a county, city, town or village which has adopted the regional plan for its district pursuant to section 44-0119 of this article.

Participating Community means (a) a city or county that is a member of SJVPA and has executed SJVPA’s Program Agreement 1 and/or (b) a city or county that has satisfied the condition set forth in Section 3.1(a) of the SJVPA Joint Powers Agreement relating to membership by such city/county, namely, requiring “the adoption of a resolution by the governing body of such incorporated municipality or such county requesting that the incorporated municipality or county, as the case may be, become a member of the Authority.”
