Pay and Display Parking Place definition

Pay and Display Parking Place means a car park where payment and time limits are managed by the driver purchasing and displaying a Pay and Display Ticket;

Pay and Display Parking Place means a parking place designated as such by this Order;

Pay and Display Parking Place means a parking place designated as such by this Order and identified as such in Schedule 2 to this Order and includes forms of payments for parking that do not require a ticket to be displayed;

Examples of Pay and Display Parking Place in a sentence

• If a Ticket Issuing Machine which was out of order is repaired during the Charging Hours then any Vehicle parked before the successful completion of the repair shall be exempt from charge provided that it is not parked for longer than the Maximum Duration of Stay permitted for that Pay and Display Parking Place.

• The Permitted Hours of operation of a Pay and Display Parking Place shall be as specified in the Label for that particular restriction and also as specified in Column 5 of Schedule 10.

• The Parking Charge payable in a Pay and Display Parking Place where a Ticket Issuing Machine is installed shall be payable on the leaving of a Vehicle in the Pay and Display Parking Place by the insertion into the Ticket Issuing Machine of payment to the value of the relevant Parking Charge for the parking period for which payment is being made.

• No Vehicle which, having displayed a Ticket, has been taken away from a specific Pay and Display Parking Place during the Permitted Hours shall be allowed to return to that Pay and Display Parking Place during the Permitted Hours, until the expiry of the Minimum period before returning as set out in the Label for that particular Pay and Display Parking Place and also as set out in Column 7 of Schedule 10.

• Any length of Road defined by the Legend as “Pay and display” and also defined in Schedule 10 as a “Pay and Display Parking Place” is hereby designated as a Pay and Display Parking Place.

More Definitions of Pay and Display Parking Place

Pay and Display Parking Place means an area on a carriageway designated as a parking place by Article 3 or Article 4 or Article 5 of this order;

Pay and Display Parking Place means any area of highway which is described in Schedule 18 to this Order which is comprised within and indicated by a road marking approved by the Department for Transport.

Pay and Display Parking Place means any area of highway described in Schedule 22 to this Order.

Pay and Display Parking Place means an off-street parking place authorised by this Order where permitted vehicles may park with a parking ticket issued by a ticket machine and displayed in the manner specified in Article 12 or whose driver is a registered driver who has paid the relevant fee via the telephone parking system;

Pay and Display Parking Place means an off-street parking place authorised by this Order where permitted vehicles may park with a parking ticket issued by a ticket machine and

Pay and Display Parking Place means any area identified in the On-Street Plans and described for Pay & Display Parking;

Pay and Display Parking Place means a parking place in which a driver must follow the procedure as stipulated in Article 15 of this Order;
