Transferring applicant means a person transferring from another health insurer.
Planning Application means the application for [outline/full] planning permission dated [ ] bearing the Council’s reference number [ ];
Job applicant means a person, independent contractor, or person working for an independent contractor who applies to become an employee of the school district in a position that does not require a commercial driver’s license, and includes a person who has received a job offer made contingent on the person’s passing drug or alcohol testing. Job applicants for positions requiring a commercial driver’s license are governed by the provisions of the school district’s drug and alcohol testing policy relating to school bus drivers (Section III.).
Requesting Authority means the Authority making a request under this MoU.
Successful Applicant means an “employee applicant” or “applicant” who has been offered employment within this Bargaining Unit by the Employer.
Funding Authority means the body awarding the grant for the Project.
Project applicant means the person submitting a Landscape Documentation Package required under Section 2.1 to request a permit, plan check, or design review from the local agency. A project applicant may be the property owner or his or her designee.
Account Opening Application Form means the application form/questionnaire completed by the Client, on-line on the Company’s Website and/or mobile application(s) and/or in hard copy, in order to apply for the Company’s Services under the Agreement and a Client Account, via which form/questionnaire the Company will obtain amongst other things information for the Client’s identification and due diligence, financial profile and appropriateness in accordance with the Applicable Regulations.
Regulatory Approval Application means any application submitted to an appropriate Regulatory Authority seeking any Regulatory Approval.
Applicant shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 5.10.
Commercial applicator means a person who, by contract or for hire, engages in the
Marketing Approval Application or “MAA” means a New Drug Application (or its equivalent), as defined in the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder, or any corresponding or similar application, registration or certification in any country.
Co-Applicant means an employer or potential employer.
single applicant means an applicant who neither has a partner nor is a lone parent;
Biosimilar Application has the meaning set forth in Section 7.3.3.
Issuing authority means the authorized representative of the department of the City who issued the solicitation.
Regulatory Approval means any and all approvals (including MAA Approval, and Pricing and Reimbursement Approval, if applicable), licenses, registrations, permits, notifications and authorizations (or waivers) of any Regulatory Authority that are necessary for the manufacture, use, storage, import, transport, promotion, marketing, distribution, offer for sale, sale or other commercialization of a Product in any country or jurisdiction.
Land use applicant means a property owner, or the property owner's designee, who submits a land use application regarding the property owner's land.
Patent Application means an application for patent protection for a CRADA Subject Invention with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“U.S.P.T.O.”) or the corresponding patent-issuing authority of another nation.
international application means an application filed under this Treaty;
Alternate applicant in case of a minor means the parent/step-parent/court guardian who has made the application on behalf of the minor;
registering authority means the registrar of titles or anyone else required or permitted to record interests in property.
Approval Application means a BLA, NDA or similar application or submission for a Product filed with a Regulatory Authority in a country or group of countries to obtain marketing approval for a biological or pharmaceutical product in that country or group of countries.
Applicant’s Qualified Property means the Qualified Property of the Applicant to which the value limitation identified in the Agreement will apply and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 4 of this Agreement.
Practical application means to manufacture in the case of a composition or product, to practice in the case of a process or method, or to operate in the case of a machine or system; and, in each case, under such conditions as to establish that the invention is being utilized and that its benefits are, to the extent permitted by law or government regulations, available to the public on reasonable terms.
Tax Filing Authorised Person means such person as any Director shall designate from time to time, acting severally.
