Perinatal Residential Treatment Services definition

Perinatal Residential Treatment Services means AOD treatment services that are provided 10 to a woman, eighteen (18) years and older, who is pregnant and/or has custody of dependent children up 11 to twelve (12) years of age, in her care; who has a primary problem of substance use disorder, and who 12 demonstrates a need for perinatal substance use disorder residential treatment services. Services are 13 provided in a twenty-four (24) hour residential program. These services are provided in a non-medical, 14 residential setting that has been licensed and certified by DHCS to provide perinatal services.
