Outpatient services definition

Outpatient services means those services rendered in a practitioner’s office or in the department of an approved facility where services are rendered to persons who have not had an overnight stay and are not charged for room and board.
Outpatient services means behavioral health treatment services provided to an individual in a nonresidential setting. A residential treatment facility (RTF) may become certified to provide outpatient services.
Outpatient services means office visits that provide for the treatment of Mental Illness and Substance Abuse.

Outpatient services means nonresidential services for the treatment of nervous or mental disorders or alcoholism or other drug abuse problems provided to an insured and, if for the purpose of enhancing the treatment of the insured, a collateral by any of the following:
