Examples of Persistent Poverty Counties in a sentence
Each applicant proposing to receive consideration under the High-Poverty Areas or Persistent Poverty Counties priority should provide a sufficient narrative explanation to identify each specific High-Poverty Area (by census tract number(s)) and/or each specific Persistent-Poverty County where individuals are intended to benefit from the requested grant and how the requested grant will address specific challenges in each such identified area and/or county.
Persistent Poverty Counties – Financial Assistance (PPC-FA) Eligibility• Certified CDFIs that submit a Base-FA Application.Matching Funds• Awards requiring Matching Funds will be limited to no more than two times the amount of In-Hand or Committed Matching Funds provided at the time of Application.

ATTACHMENT 4.19-A PAGE 2a Shortage Areas (HPSAs) for Total Population; SC hospitals located in Persistent Poverty Counties with ≤130 Licensed Beds; and SC hospitals located in Equally Rural/Urban ZCTAs with ≤90 Licensed Beds which contract with the SC Medicaid Program will continue to receive retrospective cost settlements that represent one-hundred percent (100%) of allowable SC Medicaid inpatient hospital costs subject to the limitations/allowances outlined in paragraph g.

The CDFI Fundwill rank Applicants in each category of Qualified Activity according to the priorities described in Section V.B. of this NOFA (Application Review Information: Award Percentages, Award Amounts, Application Review Process,Selection Process, Programmatic Financial Risk, and Application Rejection), specifically parts V.B.2: Selection Process, V.B.3: Programmatic and Financial Risk, and V.B.4: Persistent Poverty Counties.
