Professional experience means the actual and lawful pursuit of the profession concerned;
Clinical experience means providing direct services to individuals with mental illness or the provision of direct geriatric services or special education services. Experience may include supervised internships, practicums, and field experience.
Teaching Experience means full-time employment as a teacher in a public school, private school licensed or accredited by the State Board of Education, or institution of higher education,
Person with a developmental disability means a person
Independent Financial Expert means a U.S. investment banking firm of national standing in the United States, (i) which does not, and whose directors, officers and employees or affiliates do not have a direct or indirect material financial interest for its proprietary account in the Company or any of its affiliates and (ii) which, in the judgment of the board of directors of the Company, is otherwise independent with respect to the Company and its affiliates and qualified to perform the task for which it is to be engaged.
Work experience means an activity in the unpaid employment component in which the participant works without pay at a job site to develop good work habits and basic vocational skills that enhance the likelihood the participant will become employed. "Work experience" is available through private for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations, or public agencies.¶
Experience means “earned premiums” and “incurred claims” during the experience period.
Qualified expert means an individual having the knowledge and training to measure ionizing radiation, to evaluate safety techniques, and to advise regarding radiation protection needs, for example, individuals certified in the appropriate field by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Health Physics, or those having equivalent qualifications. With reference to the calibration of radiation therapy equipment, an individual having, in addition to the above qualifications, training and experience in the clinical applications of radiation physics to radiation therapy, for example, individuals certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or X-Ray and Radium Physics by the American Board of Radiology, or those having equivalent qualifications.
Independent Financial Consultant means a financial consultant or firm of such consultants generally recognized to be well qualified in the financial consulting field, appointed and paid by the District, who, or each of whom:
Accountant means the independent certified public accountant or independent certified public accounting firm retained by the Issuer to perform the duties of the Accountant under this Master Indenture.
Independent Expert means a Person or entity with no material current or prior business or personal relationship with the Advisor or the Directors and who is engaged to a substantial extent in the business of rendering opinions regarding the value of assets of the type held by the Company.
Training Event means either a Course or Online Training, or both.
cost accountant means a cost accountant as defined in clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 (23 of 1959) and who has obtained a certificate of practice under sub-section (1) of section 6 of that Act;
Business owned by a person with a disability means a business concern that is at least 51% owned by one or more persons with a disability and the management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more of the persons with disabilities who own it. A not- for-profit agency for persons with disabilities that is exempt from taxation under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is also considered a "business owned by a person with a disability".
Person with a disability means a person who is a citizen or lawful resident of the United States and is a person qualifying as a person with a disability under subdivision (2.1) of this subsection (A).
Independent living means a planned program of services designed to assist a child age 16 and over
Acute pain means the normal, predicted physiological response to a noxious chemical, thermal or mechanical stimulus and typically is associated with invasive procedures, trauma and disease. Generally, acute pain is self-limited, lasting no more than a few weeks following the initial stimulus.
person with a 0.25 per cent. interest means a person who holds, or is shown in any register or record kept by the company under the Companies Acts as having an interest in, shares in the company which comprise in total at least 0.25 per cent. in number or nominal value of the shares of the company (calculated exclusive of any shares held as treasury shares), or of any class of such shares (calculated exclusive of any shares of that class held as treasury shares), in issue at the date of service of the restriction notice;
Person so Engaged means the person who is engaged by the Owner to co-ordinate and supervise the process of designing, planning, constructing, fitting out, completing and marketing the Development. 「如此聘用的人」指擁有人聘用以統籌和監管發展項目的設計﹑規劃﹑建造﹑裝置﹑完成及銷售的過程的人士。
Advisory Firm means an accounting firm that is nationally recognized as being expert in Covered Tax matters, selected by the Corporation.
Independent Accounting Firm has the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(c).
Independent Accountant has the meaning set forth in Section 2.04(c)(iii).
Expert is defined in Section 7.9 of this Agreement.
Co-occurring disorder specialist means an individual
Target Business means any businesses or entity with whom the Company wishes to undertake a Business Combination;
Qualifying exigency means a situation where the eligible employee seeks leave for one or more of the following reasons:
