Phases of the Work definition

Phases of the Work means in respect of the work, the engineering phase, procurement phase, construction phase, commissioning phase and turnover phase.

Examples of Phases of the Work in a sentence

  • For the avoidance of doubt, VoIP-PSTN Traffic is not limited to traffic originated on an interconnected VoIP service, as that term is defined in 47 CFR § 9.3, but also includes traffic originated or terminated on a non- interconnected VoIP service, as that term is defined in 47 CFR § 64.601(15).

  • The Owner shall authorize and cause the Architect/Engineer to provide those additional services requested by the Construction Manager which must necessarily be provided by the Architect/Engineer for the Preconstruction and Construction Phases of the Work.

  • Unless a GMP is requested during an earlier design phase, only the Drawings and Specifications produced for the Construction Documents shall be used as a basis for pricing and construction; Drawings or Specifications produced during the Design Phases of the Work are for project development and refinement only and shall not be used or referenced as the basis of pricing, materials or assemblies selection or actual construction.

  • The Owner shall authorize and cause the Architect to provide those Additional Services described in AIA Document B141 those services requested by the Construction Manager that must necessarily be provided by the Architect for the Preconstruction and Construction Phases of the Work as contemplated by the Owner’s Agreement with the Architect.

Related to Phases of the Work

  • drainage work means any watercourse and includes any land which is expected to provide flood storage capacity for any watercourse and any bank, wall, embankment or other structure, or any appliance, constructed or used for land drainage or flood defence;

  • Development Site means any parcel or lot on which exists or which is intended for building development other than the following:

  • Projects means the projects identified in Exhibit A to the Agreement and all other projects, any costs of which are included in a Transitional Capital Plan pursuant to the Act or are Recovery Costs, and financed, by payment or reimbursement, with the proceeds of Bonds or Notes.

  • piece-work means any system by which earnings are calculated upon the quantity or output of work performed;

  • Cost of the Work means those costs described in Paragraph 11.2.

  • Phases in respect of the Project shall mean that the components of the Project are placed in service during more than one year during the Investment Period, and the word “Phase” shall therefore refer to the applicable portion of the Project placed in service in a given year during the Investment Period.

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Project Work means the work required to complete the Project.

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas. Infrastructure improvements also include 1 or more of the following whether publicly or privately owned or operated or located on public or private property:

  • Project means the goods or Services described in the Signature Document or a Work Order of this Contract.

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Excavation means the mechanical removal of earth material.

  • Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study means a study conducted by the Transmission Provider (in coordination with the affected Transmission Owner(s)) in accordance with Tariff, Part IV, section 36.

  • Project site, where applicable, means the place indicated in bidding documents.

  • Renovation means altering a facility or one or more facility components in any way, including the stripping or removal of RACM from a facility component. Operations in which load-supporting structural members are wrecked or taken out are demolitions.

  • Interconnection Studies means the Interconnection Feasibility Study, the System Impact Study, and the Facilities Study described in Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Project Site(s) means the place(s) specified in the SCC for the supply and installation of the System.

  • The Project Site, where applicable, means the place or places named in the SCC.

  • Substitute Improvements means the substitute or additional improvements of the Issuer described in Article V hereof.

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • Project Completion means the date, as determined by the Division after consultation with the Recipient, that operation of the Project is initiated or is capable of being initiated, whichever comes first.

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.
