CCAA Proceedings means the proceedings commenced by the Applicant under the CCAA as contemplated by the Initial Order;
winding-up proceedings means collective proceedings involving realisation of the assets and distribution of the proceeds among the creditors, shareholders or members as appropriate, which involve any intervention by administrative or judicial authorities, including where the collective proceedings are terminated by a composition or other analogous measure, whether or not they are founded on insolvency or are voluntary or compulsory;
criminal proceedings means criminal proceedings in relation to which the strict rules of evidence apply;
Formal proceedings means proceedings conducted before a judge with notice to interested persons.
Informal proceedings means proceedings for probate of a will or appointment of a personal representative conducted by the probate register without notice to interested persons.
Bond proceedings means, collectively, this Resolution, the Certificate of Award, the Continuing Disclosure Agreement, the Registrar Agreement, the Purchase Agreement, and such other proceedings of the Board, including the Bonds, that provide collectively for, among other things, the rights of holders and beneficial owners of the Bonds.
Environmental Proceedings means any judicial or administrative proceedings arising from or in any way associated with any Environmental Requirement.
Proceedings means any action, suit, proceeding (whether administrative, judicial or otherwise), governmental investigation or arbitration.
civil proceedings means any proceedings in or before any court or tribunal that are not criminal proceedings;

You acknowledge that you are your local utility account holder, or a person legally authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the account holder for electricity service and are at least eighteen (18) years of age. You agree to authorize XOOM to obtain your credit information and you agree to authorize your local utility to release all information relating to your historical and current electricity usage, billing and payment history to XOOM or its authorized representatives. You acknowledge that XOOM has full authority to make all rates and tariff selections necessary to meet its obligations under this Agreement. You may rescind this authorization at any time by contacting XOOM. Neither your social security number, customer account number nor any other customer financial information will be released by XOOM, except where such release is required by court order or by Commission Order or Rule, without your affirmative written consent. Execution of this Agreement shall constitute authorization for the release of this information to XOOM.
Bankruptcy Proceedings has the meaning set forth in clause (b) of paragraph 9 hereof.

When used as a verb, “Prosecute” means to engage in Prosecution.
Criminal proceeding means a proceeding instituted by means of the swearing of an information, the laying of a charge or the return of an indictment, before a Court of competent jurisdiction in Canada with jurisdiction to hear and determine the charges referred to therein, alleging or charging that the "Insured" has contravened the provisions of any Provincial or Federal statute, including the Criminal Code, R.S.C. 1985 ch. C-46 as amended, which creates an offence or crime and which provides for conviction thereunder, whether by way of summary conviction or indictment, and as a result of which the "Insured" is liable to be convicted, fined or sentenced to some form of imprisonment or other punishment.
Planning Permission means any permission, consent or approval given under the Planning Acts;
municipal spatial development framework means a municipal spatial development framework adopted by the Municipality in terms of Chapter 5 of the Municipal Systems Act;
Investigations The Xxxxxxx, when requested by one or a number of employees whom he/she represents, may investigate the basis for any dispute arising under this Agreement and may, at any stage, assist the employee(s) in seeking resolution of such dispute through the grievance procedure provided herein. A staff representative of the Union may substitute in place of the Xxxxxxx at the third step (Agency Head) or sooner if the agency is represented by other than the supervisor or intermediate supervisor. The Union may substitute a Union staff person in place of the Xxxxxxx if the Xxxxxxx is not available.
Municipal Planning Tribunal means the Municipal Planning Tribunal for the municipal area established in terms of section 33, the joint Municipal Planning Tribunal established in terms of section 45 or the District Municipal Planning Tribunal established in terms of section 49;
Insolvency Proceedings means, with respect to any Person, any case or proceeding with respect to such Person under U.S. federal bankruptcy laws or any other state, federal or foreign bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, liquidation, receivership or other similar laws, or the appointment, whether at common law, in equity or otherwise, of any trustee, custodian, receiver, liquidator or the like for all or any material portion of the property of such Person.
competent authorities means the competent authorities of the Member States as identified on the websites listed in Annex II;
Clinical Trials means a controlled study in humans of the safety or efficacy of a Product, and includes, without limitation, such clinical trials as are designed to support expanded labeling or to satisfy the requirements of an Agency in connection with any Product Approval and any other human study used in research and Development of a Product.
