Conservation Areas definition

Conservation Areas means permanently protected areas of a site that are preserved, in perpetuity, in an undisturbed, natural state.
Conservation Areas means land that is undeveloped and is maintained in its natural state such as forest, salt marsh, tidal mud flat, wetlands, watersheds and water supply land.
Conservation Areas means those protected areas required by the South Florida Water Management District for the Community, including, but not limited to wetland preservation areas, mitigation areas and upland buffers which are protected under conservation easements created pursuant to Section 704.06, Florida Statutes.

  • This notice will be prepared, signed, and delivered in person by the Conservation Areas Supervisor or delegate.

  • If the authorized project requires any related or unanticipated infrastructure modifications, utility relocation, drainage ditches, or stormwater controls within the identified Conservation Area(s), or if situations require measures to remove threats to life or property within the identified Conservation Area(s), said activities must be approved in writing by the Corps subject to terms and conditions set forth in the written approval.

More Definitions of Conservation Areas

Conservation Areas means areas that are managed for conservation outcomes and which are not protected areas;
