Player Benefit Costs definition

Player Benefit Costs means the aggregate for a League Year of all sums paid (or to be paid on a proper accrual basis for a League Year) by the NFL and all NFL Teams for, to, or on behalf of present or former NFL players as specified in Article 12.
Player Benefit Costs means the specific benefits paid to players set forth in Article XXIV (Guaranteed League-wide Salary, Salary Cap & Minimum Team Salary).
Player Benefit Costs means the specific benefits paid to players pursuant to Article VIII, Section 5(b).

Examples of Player Benefit Costs in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, beginning with the increase from the 2002 to the 2003 Contract Year, the annual rate of increase for Player Benefit Costs in any Contract Year may not exceed the annu- al rate of increase over that year in the combined “sum of the year- ly Salaries” (described in Section C(1)(b) above) for all Clubs.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, beginning with the increase from the 1996 to the 1997 Contract Year, the annual rate of - increase for Player Benefit Costs in any Contract Year may not - exceed the annual rate of increase over that year in the combined “sum of the yearly Salaries” (described in Section C(1)(b) above) for all Clubs.

  • However, such action cannot reduce total Player Benefit Costs below 5% of Projected AR, as defined in Ar­ ticle 12 and Player Benefit Costs required by law cannot be reduced.
