Point on Line definition

Point on Line means a point on a boundary line other than a corner.

  • Point of Reception means any point on the premises of a person where sound or vibration originating from other than those premises is received.

  • Point of Demarcation means for MPLS, the port on the provider switch or, in case of a VPN for access, the external interface to the Internet of the VPN device of SAP’s Computing Environment.

  • On-line means transactions through electronic data-interchange whether real time transactions or otherwise, which may be through the internet, intranet networks and the like.

  • Point of Interconnection means the point or points where the Customer Interconnection Facilities interconnect with the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities or the Transmission System.

  • point of metering means the point at which the customer’s consumption of electricity is metered and which may be at the point of supply or at any other point on the distribution system of the municipality or the electrical installation of the customer, as specified by the municipality; provided that it shall meter all of, and only, the customer’s consumption of electricity;

  • point of entry /"Point of Exit" means a location designated for the in-country arrival of inspection teams for inspections pursuant to this Convention or for their departure after completion of their mission.

  • point of supply means the point determined by the Municipality or any duly authorised official of the Municipality at which electricity is supplied to any premises by the Municipality;

  • Point of Sale means, for a Placement, the time at which an acquiror of Placement Shares entered into a contract, binding upon such acquiror, to acquire such Placement Shares.

  • Point of common coupling means the point which the distributed generation facility is connected to the EDU's system.

  • Point of Connection means the point at which electricity may flow into or out of the Network;

  • Point of Receipt or “POR” means the point on an electricity transmission or distribution system where an electricity receiver receives electricity from a deliverer. This point can be an interconnection with another system or a substation where the transmission provider’s transmission and distribution systems are connected to another system.

  • Point of Impingement means any point outside the facility in the natural environment and as defined by s.2 of O. Reg. 419/05.

  • Point of Order means a matter that a Member considers to be a departure from or contravention of the rules, procedures or generally accepted practices of Council.

  • Point of Service means the point at which FortisAlberta’s service conductors are connected to the conductors or apparatus of a Customer;

  • Main line means the pressurized pipeline that delivers water from the water source to the valve or outlet.

  • Water Line The water line is the single lateral water service line from the point of the water utility’s connection to the point of the water meter or main shut off line inside the home. The water line also includes well water lines, excluding those exceeding five feet under the surface level of the yard.

  • Utility Facilities means the plant, equipment and property, including but not limited to the poles, pipes, mains, conduits, ducts, cable, wires, plant and equipment located under, on, or above the surface of the ground within the public right-of-way of the city and used or to be used for the purpose of providing utility or telecommunications services.   • overhead line means any electric supply-line, which is placed above ground and in the open air but excluding live rails of traction system;

  • City Facilities means City or publicly-owned structures or equipment located within the right of way or public easement used for governmental purposes.

  • Utility facility means any pipe, pipeline, duct, wire line, conduit, pole, tower, equipment or other structure used for one of the following:

  • Rear lot line means the lot line that is opposite the front lot line in the case of a lot having four sides, and where the rear portion of a lot is bounded by intersecting side lot lines the point of intersection is deemed the rear lot line;

  • Interconnection Facilities means the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and the Customer Interconnection Facilities.

  • Wellhead protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a water well or well field that supplies a public water system through which contaminants are reasonably likely to migrate toward the water well or well field.

  • Trunk Line means the coaxial/optic fiber cable network and other allied equipment such as receiver nodes, amplifiers, splitters etc. owned and installed by the multi-system operator or its associate companies for the purpose of transmitting Cable TV Signal to various LCOs till the receiving end of various LCOs, including the LCO, to enable them to re-transmit the Cable TV Signal to respective subscribers; All other words and expressions used in this interconnection agreement but not defined, and defined in the Act and rules and regulations made thereunder or the CTN Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder, shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in those Acts or the rules or regulations, as the case may be.
