Port Officer definition

Port Officer and/or "Officer" means a person eligible to be a member of the Union and employed by the Authority in the capacity of Port Officer and possessing qualifications entitling that person to undertake duties connected with the navigation of vessels and engaged by the Authority to perform those duties.
Port Officer means an employee, other than a Piermaster, who attends at the mooring and unmooring of vessels, keeps the necessary records and performs all the incidental duties thereto and generally supervises the Board's installations and areas.
Port Officer means an officer of the Gibraltar Port Authority of a marine grade, other than the Captain of the Port, to whom the provisions of section 6(1)(d) apply.
