Incidental Duties. 6.1 Despite a Security officer's level according to the classification structure, a Security officer at any level is to perform duties incidental to the tasks of a Security officer within the employee's level of skill, competence and training.
Incidental Duties. It is understood by the parties that every incidental duty connected with the operations enumerated in job descriptions is not always specifically described and employees, at the discretion of management, may be required to perform other College related duties not specifically contained in their job description. However, it is also understood that employees will normally be assigned duties that are consistent with the functions listed in their job description.
Incidental Duties. Employees shall not normally be assigned duties foreign to their job classification and specifications; however, employees may be assigned to perform duties which are incidental to their classification. Incidental duties shall mean only those duties which are related to the employee's job classification and specification.
Incidental Duties. The Employer will provide a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed ten (10) minutes, consistent with the nature of the work performed for employees to remove toxic and/or other hazardous or objectionable substances prior to the meal period and at the end of the workday. Time required for securing, returning housekeeping, storage, and protection of Government property, tools, and equipment will also be included in the established tour of duty.

Excluding leadpersons, when an employee is assigned and working on a job, he will be permitted to perform those duties of another classification in another bargaining unit or in an hourly-rated, nonbargaining unit classification which he is capable of performing except that the time spent in such activities will not exceed 30% of any workday. Incidental duties will not be assigned as a job assignment; unless the required craft is unavailable due to unforeseen events and will jeopardize operations or productions normal process. At no time shall an employee be assigned duties which he has neither the knowledge nor skill to accomplish or which would compromise his personal safety or the safety of others.
B. D. Incidental duties are duties that shall occur by chance in connection with another job task. These duties are liable to happen as a result of another craft activity or task.

Incidental duties directly connected with the performance of a given job are considered assigned duties, and time spent in their performance is to be included in the scheduled working hours. This includes time spent in travel to and from worksite, if worksite is different from the point to which an employee must report to work. Nevertheless, it is intended that all duties related to firefighting, fire rescue activities, and fire prevention activities, as well as normal maintenance activities, shall be performed by the employee as required.
