Portfolio Notional Amount definition

Portfolio Notional Amount. As of any date of determination, the sum of the Notional Amounts for all Reference Obligations as of such date. Notional Amount: (a) In relation to any Transaction (other than with respect to any Terminated Obligation or Repaid Obligation), as of any date of determination, the Reference Amount of the related Reference Obligation as of such date multiplied by the Initial Price in relation to such Reference Obligation; and (b) In relation to any Transaction with respect to a Terminated Obligation or Repaid Obligation, the amount of the reduction in the Reference Amount of the related Reference Obligation determined, in the case of a Terminated Obligation, pursuant to Clause 3 or, in the case of a Repaid Obligation, pursuant to Clause 5, in each case multiplied by the Initial Price in relation to the related Reference Obligation.

  • Following any Portfolio Adjustment, the sum of the Reference Obligation Notional Amounts as at the relevant Portfolio Adjustment Date for those ABS Reference Obligations in respect of which no Credit Event Notice has been delivered cannot exceed the Initial Portfolio Notional Amount less the sum of the Reference Obligation Notional Amounts for those ABS Reference Obligations in respect of which Credit Event Notices have been delivered as at such Portfolio Adjustment Date.
