Prescription Drug Services definition

Prescription Drug Services means the prescription drug services or supplies that are covered by the Plan as reflected in the County’s Plan Document.

Prescription Drug Services means those outpatient prescription drug services or supplies provided as a covered benefit to Members as set forth in the Benefit Plan. Any prescription drug services or supplies provided by any hospital, long term facility or any other facility that dispenses medications to Members while confined to any type of medical or long term care facility are expressly not covered by the Benefit Plan.

Examples of Prescription Drug Services in a sentence

  • Plan Sponsor represents that it does not have any existing direct rebate and/or chargeback agreements with any Pharmaceutical Manufacturer and also agrees that during the term of this Agreement Plan Sponsor will not negotiate or arrange for rebates on the purchase of Prescription Drug Services from any Pharmaceutical Manufacturer.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed or deemed to confer upon ProAct any responsibility for or control over the terms or validity of the Prescription Drug Services.

  • Plan Sponsor shall provide to ProAct all information concerning the Prescription Benefit Plan and Plan Participants necessary for ProAct to perform the Prescription Drug Services, including all updates thereto, on a daily basis and at least fourteen (14) days prior to the Implementation Date.

  • Plan Sponsor shall also provide to ProAct copies of and any subsequent changes to the applicable plan document, certificate of insurance or summary plan description documentation containing Benefit Plan Information related to the Prescription Drug Services administered by ProAct under this Agreement.

  • To the extent authorized by the Benefit Plan, ProAct or Plan Sponsor shall provide Plan Participants with a ProAct (and Plan Sponsor approved) Claim form for use for reimbursement for Prescription Drug Services provided by a Participating or non-Participating Pharmacy.

  • The parties hereby agree that the payment of any and all state and local sales taxes and use taxes attributable to any Prescription Drug Services delivered pursuant to this Agreement shall be the sole and exclusive obligation of Plan Sponsor.

  • Prior to providing to a Plan Participant any Prescription Drug Services to which such Plan Participant is or may be entitled under a Benefit Plan, Participating Pharmacies shall be required to collect from Plan Participant the amount of any applicable Copayment.

  • Plan Sponsor acknowledges and agrees that Plan Sponsor shall not engage any prescription benefit manager or other third party to provide to Plan Sponsor or its Benefit Plan any service that is similar to one of the Prescription Drug Services provided by ProAct, including, without limitation, retail pharmacy network contracting, pharmacy claims processing, mail pharmacy services and formulary and rebate administration services.

Prescription Drug Services means all claims processing, reporting, rebate administration, pharmacy network management and other pharmacy benefit management services to be provided by ProAct pursuant to this Agreement.

Related to Prescription Drug Services

  • Prescription drug means any drug required by federal law or regulation to be dispensed only

  • Participating Prescription Drug Provider means an independent retail Pharmacy, chain of retail Pharmacies, mail-order Pharmacy or specialty drug Pharmacy which has entered into an agreement to provide pharmaceutical services to participants in the benefit program. A retail Participating Pharmacy may or may not be a select Participating Pharmacy as that term is used in the Vaccinations Obtained Through Participating Pharmacies section.

  • Manufacturing Services means the manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, stability testing, packaging, and related services, set forth in this Agreement, required to manufacture Product or Products from Active Materials and Components;

  • Drug abuse means any pattern of pathological use of drugs that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • Diagnostic clinical procedures manual means a collection of written procedures that describes each method (and other instructions and precautions) by which the licensee performs diagnostic clinical procedures; where each diagnostic clinical procedure has been approved by the authorized user and includes the radiopharmaceutical, dosage, and route of administration.

  • Participating Clinical Laboratory means a Clinical Laboratory which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Service Specifications means the following documents, as applicable to the Services under Your order:

  • Hosting Services means the provision, administration, and maintenance of servers and related equipment, the provision of bandwidth at the hosting facility, and the operation of the Application for access by Customer Users to be provided by the relevant hosting service provider.
