Principal Place of Abode definition

Principal Place of Abode means the place of residence where the relevant person ordinarily lives and sleeps at night.
Principal Place of Abode means the household where a Qualified Individual lives. A temporary absence by a Qualified Individual from the Principal Place of Abode due to special circumstances, such as illness, education, business, vacation, or military service, will not change a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode. The following provisions apply to a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode:

  • Applicable Date for Location of Principal Place of Abode For purposes of this subsection (b), a Member shall be deemed to have sustained an economic loss on account of loss, damage to, or destruction of real or personal property from fire, flooding, looting, vandalism, theft, wind, or other cause; loss related to displacement from such Member’s home; loss of livelihood due to temporary or permanent layoff, and such other economic loss as the Committee, in its sole discretion, shall determine.

  • A temporary absence by a Qualified Individual from the Principal Place of Abode due to special circumstances, such as illness, education, business, vacation, or military service, will not change a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode.

  • A “Qualified Hurricane Xxxxx Individual” means an individual (other than a Qualified Hurricane Xxxxxxx Individual or a Qualified Hurricane Xxxx Individual) whose Principal Place of Abode on October 23, 2005, was located in the Hurricane Xxxxx Disaster Area and who has sustained an economic loss by reason of Hurricane Xxxxx.

  • If a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode was in the Hurricane Xxxxxxx Disaster Area immediately before August 28, 2005, and the Qualified Individual evacuated because of Hurricane Xxxxxxx, then the Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode will be considered to be in the Hurricane Xxxxxxx Disaster Area on August 28, 2005.

  • The master node controls all communications to connected devices.

  • If a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode was in the Hurricane Wilma Disaster Area immediately before October 23, 2005, and the Qualified Individual evacuated because of Hurricane Wilma, then the Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode will be considered to be in the Hurricane Wilma Disaster Area on October 23,2005.

  • If a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode was in the Hurricane Rita Disaster Area immediately before September 23, 2005, and the Qualified Individual evacuated because of Hurricane Rita, then the Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode will be considered to be in the Hurricane Rita Disaster Area on September 23,2005.

  • A “Qualified Hurricane Wilma Individual” means an individual (other than a Qualified Hurricane Katrina Individual or a Qualified Hurricane Rita Individual) whose Principal Place of Abode on October 23, 2005, was located in the Hurricane Wilma Disaster Area and who has sustained an economic loss by reason of Hurricane Wilma.

  • A “Qualified Hurricane Katrina Individual” means an individual whose Principal Place of Abode on August 28, 2005, was located in the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Area and who has sustained an economic loss by reason of Hurricane Katrina.

  • If a Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode was in the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Area immediately before August 28, 2005, and the Qualified Individual evacuated because of Hurricane Katrina, then the Qualified Individual’s Principal Place of Abode will be considered to be in the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Area on August 28, 2005.

Related to Principal Place of Abode

  • Principal place of business means the head office or registered office of the organisation within which the principal financial functions and operational control of the activities referred to in this Regulation are exercised;

  • Principal place of work means the fixed location to which an employee is required to report for employment duties on a regular and ordinary basis. If the employee is not required to report for employment duties on a regular and ordinary basis to a fixed location, "principal place of work" means the worksite location in this state to which the employee is required to report for employment duties on a regular and ordinary basis. If the employee is not required to report for employment duties on a regular and ordinary basis to a fixed location or worksite location, "principal place of work" means the location in this state at which the employee spends the greatest number of days in a calendar year performing services for or on behalf of the employee's employer.

  • Regular place of business means an office at which the taxpayer carries on its business in a regular and systematic manner and which is continuously maintained, occupied and used by employees of the taxpayer.

  • Established place of business means a permanent, enclosed commercial building located in this state that is easily accessible and open to the public at all reasonable times and at which a new motor vehicle dealer may legally conduct business, including the display and repair of motor vehicles, in compliance with the terms of all applicable buildings codes, zoning, and other land-use regulatory ordinances.

  • Office or place of profit means any office or place—

  • Place of Conversion means any city in which any Conversion Agent is located.

  • Principal Location has the meaning assigned thereto in clause (b)(iii) of the definition of Good Reason, above.

  • Nearest Place of Safety means a location determined by the Designated Security Consultant where:

  • commercial place means a place used as an office or for business or commercial purposes.

  • place of supply means the place of supply as referred to in Chapter V of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act;

  • Place of entertainment means a public or private entertainment facility, such as a stadium, arena, racetrack, museum, amusement park, or other place where performances, concerts, exhibits, athletic games, or contests are held, for which an entry fee is charged, to which the public is invited to observe, and for which tickets are sold. "Place of entertainment" does not include a ski area.

  • Parental placement means locating or effecting the placement of a child or the placing of a child in

  • Place of Residence means the Artist's home or usual place of residence as shown on the face of the Artist's contract.

  • Principal Corporate Trust Office means the office of the Trustee, at which at any particular time its corporate trust business shall be principally administered, which office at the date of execution of this instrument is at the address set forth in the first paragraph of this instrument.

  • Large work place means a place at which, at an average 500 or more workers are employed in connection with construction work.

  • Registered Office means the registered office for the time being of the Company.

  • Place of business means any bona fide office (other than a mere statutory office), factory, warehouse or other space which is occupied and used by the taxpayer in carrying on any business activity individually or through one or more of his regular employees regularly in attendance.

  • place of worship means that part of a building or structure that is exempt from taxation as a place of worship under the Assessment Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. A.31, as amended, or any successor thereof;

  • Place of detention means a building or a police station that is a place of operation for the State police, a municipal police department, county sheriff department, or other law enforcement agency that is owned or operated by a law enforcement agency at which persons are or may be questioned in connection with criminal offenses or detained temporarily in connection with criminal charges pending a potential arrest or citation.

  • Locational UCAP means unforced capacity that a Member with available uncommitted capacity sells in a bilateral transaction to a Member that previously committed capacity through an RPM Auction but now requires replacement capacity to fulfill its RPM Auction commitment. The Locational UCAP Seller retains responsibility for performance of the resource providing such replacement capacity.

  • Shelter-in-place means staff and children staying at the fa- cility due to an external threat such as a storm, chemical or gas leak or explosion, or other event that prohibits the occupants from safely leaving the facility.

  • Place of primary use means the street address representative of where the customer's use of the telecommunications service primarily occurs, which must be the residential street address or the primary business street address of the customer. In the case of mobile telecommunications services, "place of primary use" must be within the licensed service area of the home service provider.

  • Work place means a place at which, at an average 20 or more workers are employed in connection with construction work.

  • Place of Payment when used with respect to the Securities of any series, means the place or places where the principal of and any premium and interest on the Securities of that series are payable as specified as contemplated by Section 301.

  • Agreed Stopping Places means those places, except the place of departure and the place of destination, set out in the Ticket or shown in our timetables as scheduled stopping places on your route.
